I mean, it aint that hard to deal with once ya know wha ya doing, take advantage of X Boosts since they dont wear off when a trainer battle starts and they stack, apply entry hazards and other setup if you can and know the AI will switch whenever it thinks it has a better option or is in a bad matchup which creates openings of it's own...honestly the rival is the only real challenge at 145 (sometimes challenge, depends how ya run has gone so far) and 195 (almost always a challenge)

Did you see the Heatran looming ominously behind it? A tactic as old as Heatran itself is to bait a fire attack on a pokemon weak to it, and swap to Heatran to nullify the damage and boost it's fire damage with Flash Fire.
I always like to imagine that when you get beaten by your rival and have to restart, they just go "yes I did it! I beat my rival!" And then the world starts collapsing and all of that existence gets erased.
Pokerogue gives me three emotions when playing: "I'll use my favorite Pokemon, and die in the first area!" "I'll use a cheesy pickup team, and die whenever I try to catch anything!" "I'll just use broken sweepers like Aerodactyl..."
I use blaziken in every single one of my runs. My torchic only has knock off as an egg move and I also have like several legendaries with like all egg moves unlocked (I've never used them). Smh, it always pulls through (plus combusken is an absolute carry)
