- Samucha lives in the mountains of Tusheti, a tiny region in Georgia on the border with Chechnya. Proud and brave, Samucha looks like an American cowboy. He’s a fabulous horse rider, a shepherd, a musician, singer, and storyteller. We follow him in his daily life, and encounters, before having to migrate with his sheeps for springtime.

I heard a dog bark at some point and thought about how I would’ve paced on a whim, but adore how steadfast and dedicated these shepherds are (and less scared of dogs.)

It looks like they share excerpts of documentary films produced by third parties. The director and film production company are mentioned in this video’s description. Maybe looking them up and reaching out to them can help you on your journey to document what you describe.

Seeing the dogs in the earlier video as well as the good quality of the horses makes me wonder if these people are descendants of the Alan tribes. The Alans of old were renowned for breeding and training high quality horses and dogs.

I visited Tbilisi Georgia for a month. It was a very nice city. I did not destroy your country and returned to California peacefully, safe, and did not cause any problems while there.
