Surprised at the fluoro leader. I’ve always used mono because I was afraid the fluorocarbon would sink and hurt the action. I’ll have to try that!

That small of length is not enough to hurt action. It’s when you cast the line out and there is bow between rod tip and bait that will affect the action since it would be a lot of line pulling it down.
