Nia gets mad at a female listener, which is a classic one.
The thing with Bill is that he says tons of shit that most all guys are thinking but many won't say esp. in the presence of their SOs. Nia understands this and knows it is not something Bill is going to live out - which frankly is a healthy cathartic relationship for Bill. Nia is also the same in many ways so they are perfect together - afaict!

I think women don't leave because they want to be married but still live like they're single. Men don't leave because they typically stand to lose the most in a divorce, and they ultimately still want sexual access. A woman typically has to do some pretty outrageous shit for a guy to break up with her (unless said guy actually has options)
Maybe it is just women who dig deeper for information. Until they get information they dont agree with, then its not about what they know, its about what they feel. There is no winning here gentlemen.

This is not completely who Bill is. His persona as a comedian is enough like him to make the persona authentic -- but this utterly-cynical, rage-filled guy has another side that he doesn't always show. His father was apparently in a rage all the time, and hyper-masculine, but Bill doesn't want to be that guy. He feels a lot of tenderness toward his family, and he feels for the underdog. Most of the squabbles he and Nia have are theatrical. There's no way he could be a tyrant with her. He doesn't want to be and she wouldn't stay with him if he really were.
I'm with you Britt, I've never understood why someone who gets cheated on, gets upset with the person your partner fucked. Your partner is the one who cheated, not them. I've never had a guy come at me like that, but I've definitely been in situations where I was with a girl who had a bf and just straight up didn't care about cheating on him. Women usually only cheat when they aren't happy in their current relationship. Most men will cheat just to get some strange.
I mostly agree with pointing the finger at the partner. However as a single man myself, if I know full well that a woman is married, that's a total no go...to me that's just man code and honor, as well as a decent way to get yourself shot lol

Those stories he told of her hitting him were all true. In fact he had a conversation with here where he told her is she didn't stop hitting him he was out. Fortunately they seemed to have worked it all out and they are happily married now.
Which I am happy about because they are the (near) perfect couple.
