I followed Nia’s suggestion when I was younger. It became part of “who I am”. Then one day I met someone while I was married - bickety bam - marriage over & mentally messed up as I felt like I was betraying what I believe in. Since them, free as a bird & knocking back relationship requests from women in these f-buddy situations, like never before. I’m now 47 & still not ready for a serious relationship.
Moral of the story - get that “demon” out of you fellas, haha.

Girls have the ball in their court now when it comes to dating, I completely agree with Bill especially when it comes to dating apps. Guys don’t get to pick and choose like girls do on the majority of dating apps, & with a ton of matchups coming from dating apps it says a lot about society in the US these days. Girls have so much more accessibility to who they want to take a chance on these days more than ever. Men have to decide whether to fake it or make it with social media now

Its a natural instinct for alot of men, especially in teens and early 20s with all those hormones. Thats great you had those long term relationships, but alot of guys aren't gonna wanna do that when they are young. Its nice to have freedom and not be tied down when you are young.
@@CliffArmijoI have less problem with "having fun" while one is young, and more problem with the blatant double standard we uphold as a nation. If women in their teens and early 20s do the same, they're shamed by the same people that cheer the guys doing it.
@@miconis123 Of course there is a double standard. There are double standards for everything in life with men and women. Is it okay that women get into clubs for free, can be invited to high profile parties at 18 for merely exisiting and being hot, and get payed for on dates? Women don't like it when there are double standards that don't benefit them, but never wanna give up the ones that do. Men and women aren't the same. I would argue the only double standard that really benefits men, at least in the western countries, is our ability to fuck a bunch of women and not be judged for it. Its easy for women to get laid, by a mile compared to what men have to do to get women. At least in a general sense. Not the top 10 percent dudes. We talking about the average 5'8" 40-50k a year man. Its not the same man, and you know that. Women that fuck around with large number of men should be judged imo. If a woman is sleeping around with tons of guys, there is no way that all those dudes were stand up, respectful, successful guys that treated her right and actually put in the time to have sex with her. But if a dude is sleeping around with alot of women, alot of the time he is most likely successful, good looking, takes care of himself, and has his shit together. Because its not as easy for most men to sleep with alot of women. You make it seem like a guy could just walk up to a girl and sleep with her. It isnt true for most guys. But I know damn well that most women could walk up to most men and ask to sleep with them, and it would be okay. Men and women are different and thats okay.
@@miconis123 Its not really a double standard. I guess you could say there are two very different standards. Even though men and women are the same species, men and women are very different.
After a women has been with with enough men - and it usually doesn't take very many - her ability to pair bond diminishes to an alarming level. They are far more likely to end their marriages. Men do not seem to have the same problem no matter how many women they have been with. Conversely, a man who does not sleep around before getting married is a lot more likely to cheat if he ever gets the chance.
Another reason its different is that most women are attracted to men with experience and will not want to be with a man who is a virgin. It may happen once, out of pity, but its pretty unlikely it will again, unless she has some kind of virgin fetish. Whereas many men dream of being with, or even marrying a woman with merely a low body count. This is because virgins are as rare as unicorns.. How many women dream about marrying a virgin?
I met my wife of 25 years when I was 19. We connected quickly and have a great life together. I occasionally think it could have been fun to have gone out partying with others but I would not trade what I gave for a wild couple of nights.

It happens to women too. A guy two years younger than me basically rescued a girl from her drug addict mother, and she immediately got with him. It soon became apparent that was a mistake. She banged all his friends (including me, but I didn't know him yet), and even gave a guy a BJ in a car at her BFs birthday party.
She (being half Filipina) was branded "the Chinese Whore" by the same guys who banged her. I don't blame her, because she messed up settling too early.
He was her first boyfriend, and she was in a bad situation that he saved her from. She needed time to be free, party, have casual sex, and get bored with the dating scene.

As a man it's pretty important to just get out there and tube snake boogie to desensitize yourself. If you're EXTREMELY lucky, you'll land a decent woman but for the majority of men it's a series of being used for your wallet and taken advantage of. You only learn to stop being naive by learning what kinds of women will just cough it up to hold their hand out straight after. Bill and Nia is always amazing together on his podcast,she will keep it real if she has a different opinion then he has,and that is honestly quite often lol. I know couples that has broken up over tiny things like that. They have amazing understanding for one another,and have great communication. (I can say that 'cause I'm part Irish.) Maybe Bill has his point that men have to "get it out of their system" before a serious relationship, and I could argue many woman have played the same game. But I've know couples who have found their soulmate early in life and have no regrets about little or no other sexual experiences. You know, most of young guy are too naive for longer than healthy Then they attach to much, getting invevitably failed (its first time, years still to come) and get resilitent, angry or whatever depending on circumstances. That is reason so many guys then do not approach women. So affraid of so fatal failure ... just broken from start because they meant their firsr shot really honesty, but it almost never works out.
The difference is, women have their first adult serious relationshiop behind in 16, guys in 25 or 30.

It’s better to have feelings for somebody and do it then to do it with somebody that you know nothing about.
