Fishing for reef fish in crystal clear water! taking my kids Fishing! The tide nearly stranded us!

- I took the kids out to fish with me for the day! my daughter Mieke loves the ocean too just like Xandré! Mieke caught a variety of fish using ultra light tackle while I was fishing for a red Roman in crystal clean water! after losing a goof fish I finally managed to land a good sized Yellow belly Rock cod! We almost got caught by the the tide and I had to carry the kids through the water!

Ek het 3 seuns groot gemaak langs die waters. Ek het al dieselfde gedoen. Almal wil nou weet hoekom ek dit nie met die kleinkinders ook will probeer nie. Gees is gewillig maar die vlees is op en oud.

Do you have any tips or helpful guides for me I'm here in langebaan and have tried fishing unfortunately the sea is to ruff and I always get caught in kelp.

@@willemswanepoel2645 in this case I speak from experience. I do understand that he lost track of the tide, but what happened was dangerous. He warned us as well. I started swimming in the Cape among the rocks about sixty years ago and still would be happy to swim in that sea around those rocks, but not without goggles, snorkel and flippers. The why is being able see the hazards. When you walk the rocks in a cross sea, you can not clearly see what is going to rip your legs, or cause you to slip and fall in channel that will try and ship you out over more rocks. I have shed plenty of blood walking on rocks and very little swimming in the sea. My children have shed some blood walking on rocks as well, without adding any cross sea...
Just in time to save my loadshed boredness
