I'd rather have a friendly, licky chihuahua than a needle toothed little demon dog chihuahua that tries to take your fingers the moment you set foot in the house.
That because Chihuahuas are in fact actually friendly dogs! It’s that owners do not correct unwanted behaviors because they find it “cute” and then on top of that are treated like babies and not dogs. My chihuahua is super friendly with strangers and other dogs
Chihuahuas really are so smart and respond so well to training! My chi-mix loves training so much and she's such a happy, well behaved and confident dog because of it! Thanks to that baseline of communication formed through training, she has even more trust in me and knows to look to me for guidance in unfamiliar situations and that makes it so much easier for me to keep her safe
I take my mom's golden retriever on sniff led walks in the fields behind our house, he loves sniffin around and following bunny scent trails!😁 These Chihuahuas are very cute!
Dear algorithm, please suggest the British produced episodes of It's Me Or The Dog and not the American drama fests. The difference is stunning, and I just want relaxing dog training content with a mellow storyline. Sincerely, an overstimulated and anxious American.
I see 1 toy. The green monkey. Get some benebones and Bullibones. My chi gets them when I leave or as a throughout the day chew. A bonus you can add as a TREAT is a KONG goodie bone with Milk Bone minis stuffed in it! Interactive and TASTY!
Right! I wondered if they had any toys, or if they were just put away. Pets get destructive when they are bored. Just like on "My Cat From Hell." Owner: "Why is my cat knocking things off the shelf?" Jackson Galaxy: "Do you play with your cat?" Owner: "Uh...not really." Jackson: "Your cat is bored out of its mind." I'd imagine it is similar with dogs.
Would you treat your children like this? No? Then why do you treat your dogs like this? Spoiled animals are just as bad as spoiled children. And they act like they can't just pick the dogs up and keep them off their face!
honestly my dog licks the crap out of my nose. it will snap him out of any mouthy or aggression he has haha it isnt ideal but i def like having that off switch whenever i need it haha
You make an _excellently true_ point, but that’s _absolutely no_ excuse to allow the dog to growl and snap/bite at people and other animals. It’s also bad for the dog because by allowing that behavior, they’re not helping him/her overcome their anxieties and feel comfortable enough around other living beings.
It’s great to see these ladies realize the problems and ask for help. Instead of blaming the other. Great episode.

The ones that bark at other dogs too!
They seem great, care for their dogs, and will put in the work. Wonderful.
At least these Chihuahuas are mega friendly. Not nippy and nasty towards other people

At 10:45, this is so true. Dog training should be defined as how to train humans to understand and communicate with dogs.
Yep! You're creating a language that both you and the dog understand, and the training is mostly teaching the humans how to teach it to their dogs

Such a heart- warming episode! Positive, dedicate and hard-working owners and lovely, loving dogs!
I couldn't help but chuckle when the camera would zoom on the dog eye-balling the other dog getting treats lol

My dog likes to sniff around in his fenced in yard... he loves it!
I do baby my Italian greyhound, but i am quite aware of his needs as a dog. Thank you Victoria for saying you can do both at the same time,

Agreed!😊😊😊
Fr, the American episodes for the most part are so wild
That’s because the American episodes came out around the time reality tv shows were popular.
I love the ladies. Great to see the turn around with the hounds 😊
I think it great the owners realized they weren’t going to get better as they got older.
Toys and chews would keep them away from tearing up the house.

They are so adorable ❤❤

What was the training that helped with them? Scent training or something? I missed that.
Subscribed lovely training❤

Everyone says Chihuahuas are neurotic, but how would you feel if you were surrounded by giants who keep trying to pick up and cuddle you?

I have nothing to say so....

I don't believe these two are just friends unless they're widows. Why else would be be living together and adopting dogs together
