Honestly it's just that the post COVID reboot is a lot more sedate and more focused on educating than confrontation and unnecessary camera-ready drama (which is obviously a vast improvement). If you watch the old episodes with British families, some of them are every bit as far out-of-pocket as any of the American families.
It's all about the target audience. Europeans want relatable reality programs, Americans want dramatic "reality" shows. You can see the difference in families they choose to work with, the editing (the American version has a LOT of dramatic music and zoom-ins), and what kind of questions they're asked in those private interview sessions.
@@lucie03 unfortunately you’re right. I’m just a dog parent who wants to see dog parents actually care about their animal. It just happens that I’m from the UK lol
I didn’t realize there were new episodes!!! The low resolution of the thumbnails makes it look like these were filmed like 10 years ago and like it’s just a reupload! I am glad I clicked to check and these are actually new episodes!!!
Yup. This playlist is great. Only some of the episodes are repeats to others on this list, but for the most part they are nt, and it is nice that some of them are ones I have not seen before either😇
9:52 first mistske, when the lady enters and calls the dog's name in that high pitch, it's exciting. 2nd mistake, direct eye contact, pretend you don't see him. Third mistake, she swings her hands forward instead of pushing them down. 10:25 she didn't say anything. She gave the correct hand signal. Success! 💖🌞🌵😷
I had a young but large golden retriever with the same habit of jumping up to greet people. Our vet suggested one thing to stop it and it didn't take long, maybe only 2 to 3 times only!...as the dog jumps up stick up your knee so the dog's chest gets the knee. It will take only a couple of jumps to get the dog to understand that he needs to stop this habit! A good tip from an excellent vet! The vet said most dogs love their humans and would do anything to please them. The problem is: humans do not always know HOW to communitcate their desires to their dogs!
Yes! A VERY important point, though, is that the knee is JUST "THERE". The knee is an object in the way, NOT an action of defense, even. It's like the difference between putting arms up and out to block a hug, vs slugging the approaching person in the face. That can be a tough difference to communicate.
My first American Cocker was similar. He would jump onto tables and steal food. We learned early on to counteract that. My current Cocker is much better behaved, but she still is a bit needy.
Sounds like he needs some other form of scavenging that is more appropriate….like scatter his food for dinner he can “scavenge” for it and maybe will “scavenge” less on the table
Love Victoria ! I’ve had my dog since he was 8 weeks and we use her and Cesar Milan to train my now 85lb Rottie Poo ! I’ve had no majors issues due to watching it’s me or the dog 🥹lots of valuable and easy to use tricks from this show
Love how she educates the kids and they understand and learn ❤😊❤
I’m convinced British families are a million times better and more normal in this show

I don't believe that

We recently got our sister’s dog back to live with us and I used her techniq of not letting the dog beg,and it’s working well

Thanks Victoria!!

Has Milo enough physical activity everyday? I have 2 english cocker spaniels and they need to run, have nosework /sniffing, explore freely
Great video!

That dog literally walked all over them ! Politeness devoid of direction isnt what a dog needs
Am I the only one shocked to see that this spaniel is shaved 💀 it literally is horrible for their hair…
i’m a groomer and it pains me to see this dog shaved 😢
Do spaniels have an undercoat? That’s awful if they do.
@@TheHaywire924 Yes they do 🥲
She has a daughter guys. That's why she's like a second mom to kids
Someone tell this lady it's horrible to have your Cocker Spaniel shaved :/
