(9.24%) So the dynamic between Arin and Dan in this song is informed by their actual views on smashing Pokémon. Hence why they made a Pokémon Smash or Pass song 2 and a half years after the trend died. Since they had a unique angle to bring to the concept that no one else did, because everyone else did it solo, they thought it would make for a good spot on the album. (that and the fact that they weren't planning on making a 4th Starbomb album until well after it's prime.)

Unless you were talking about the follow-up they did specifically on Miltank Pokémon fusions about three months back. (You can just look up "Pokémon Infinite Fusion Calculator" to see what that's all about.) looking back, that was probably a promotional video, and this song was likely in production at the time of filming. (Or at least it was fresh in their minds.)
