Its one of those rare videos where we see Geoff minus his hat. Barbecue wise my mom purchased ages ago when she worked at Sainsbury's, a Jamie Oliver branded round pan style barbecue. Its been the best one we have ever had and two years ago we gave it a bit of a clean and repaint as it was still solid and still has many cooks left in it.
Group social cook out, must be fondue & melted chocolate dip time! Oh for painting the trailer grab a carrier bag of unpopular clear out car touch up cans from local motor spares shop and let the kids loose on it. Graffiti special!!!. (A little left foot brake pedal tap to flash the brake lights is my 'hint' to bumper polishing prats).🤔🤭😄🇬🇧
Not a fan of powder coating steel. It just rusts underneath the powder coating until it gets so bad it starts to crack and peel off. You can't touch it up either. On the other hand, paint is quick, cheap, can be touched up and for most things, (garden gates, brackets, bike racks etc etc), after the first day or two we don't look closely enough at the finish to notice the difference anyway.
Absolutely agree! Horrid when it cracks and peels innit. I enjoy the sanding, prepping and painting, decent hammerite over a decent prime coat and long lasting!
Many interesting theories shared by you and Phil... paint, what is it about the sticky stuff that attracts you Geoff?? Did you eat all that chicken?? Surely you had a sore belly after??
I once made a small trailer for my small dinghy and on the way home, my crap welding gave way and the axle fell off. Later, after mods, on my way with said boat up to the static caravan, the mudguards fell off. I there a lesson here.
Looks excellent Geoff ❤

When on holiday at my old school friend in Canada, they used a large wheel put in the ground great fire pit
Anyone involved in painting/powder coating are usually away with the fairies ..... must be the fumes 😂👍🇮🇪

Geoff. Sack the powder coating jokers. They're nefariously up to something, i reckon. :) :)
Excellent work both, the chicken looked delicious too!
2:00 *What a shame they didn't phone you and let you know !*
I phoned them repeatedly but they never answer. pretty annoying really.
Looking forward to your travels

Funky Phil's outtakes are going to be even funnier !
'Nefarious, Nefarious'. Brilliant. Haha
"i need to put some weight in the bottom of the trailer" good idea...
I got that Argos BBQ too, it’s alright.
Classic Geoff and his mate solve a problem or two. BTW, am I wrong to wish for a vehicle designed to take out tale-gaters?🦍
Noooo perhaps Geoffs' mate could design us both summink eh.....
Explosive Reactive Armour (ERA) would work ! No tailgating ever again.
You need to use a bonding coat of paint, first, on the galvanising or the paint will come off.

I saved some of this for the day after!
@@GeoffBuysCars 😁👍 Good to see you're still about! Thought there for a moment or ten you'd poisoned yourself with all that meat!!😁😁 GGG!!!
Slow down, it really Pi×××S them off!
This is high tec 😂

The trailer saga continues...
You'll have to strip the paint before you get them recoated, you can't powder coat over paint.
No weight in trailer means bouncing around like Zebedee. You could paint the trailer Josephs coat of many colours.
Use the trailer as a barbecue. Save money.
Geoff go to Redditch powder coating , I think it may be closer to you anyway ??
Some people forget about the rules of the road and stopping distances. 😔
Tooo hot atm 'er for a bbq I'm off for some proper ice cream yum
Who uses per se nowadays? Does that mean Phil is posh? 🤔😂
Powder Coaters failed ! Oh dear.
Geoff sans cap sorted it.
Powder coating is balls, one scratch and half an acre peels off. Far better with paint.
I hate barbecuing.
Who are you calling a New Fairy Ass? 🙂 - - -
