The segment is called "The Showdown" and having not watched it myself it seems like its a high energy fast paced debate show, Kenny was doing what he was supposed to but having a guest online hurts and also having Jimmy who is more cerebral and cares about the words he's saying makes for a one sided conversation which is why more and more people are switching to youtube for sports shows.

That said, Juan Soto is actually the type of hitter who ages much better than strikeout prone hitters like Judge and Stanton, and since he's only 25, it will be a long time before he hits the inevitable decline that befalls hitters in their mid-30s.

In this day and age, the only way to get a star player is to overpay. For the Yankees, the question is not whether you should give out a 10 year contract -- the question is which star you should give it out to. The Yankees aren't gonna have another star who 1) is a generational talent, and 2) has proven (so far) he can handle NY. Might he turn out to be Stanton-esque in ~5 years? Sure. But nobody potentially hitting free agency within the next ~5 years would be more worth the money than Soto.
