I’ve asked quite a few former big league catchers how their knees were feeling after catching for so many years and they have all had multiple knee replacements and surgeries. One of them Edd Ott (Rip) said he had 16 knee operations and 4 replacements. Mad respect for catchers!

I played second base and center field and right field. I loved to make shoe-string catches but didn't have a good arm. That's why I played right... most kids couldn't hit it there. Plus I was a sub-par hitter, so I usually batted 8th or 9th.

I play outfield (right field and center field, but 98% of the time right field) and catcher. I’m the fastest on my team and have the strongest arm. I also have the highest batting average on the team and the most drip/swag. I’m also the smartest on the field, the smartest in school, have the best grades on the team, and have the most stolen bases and hits on the team. I was the best outfielder, catcher, and player on my team. I showed the other team and my own teammates sportsmanship and happiness the whole time. My worst experience playing was going to block a ball in proper form (like I always do) and it went under my glove and went under my cup. I guess you can figure out what happened next😂🥴😬. Tbh, I cried because of the pain I went through. I was close to throwing up, at least that is what it felt like😢😂. Also, I would always get “Catcher’s Thumb” and almost broke my thumb. I now wear a thumb guard though. *This is not to show off and brag, this is just for entertainment and informal purposes. This is showing how not everything is the same as people/stereotypes say they are such as explained in this video.* Btw, Love your vids. Keep up the amazing work.
I play shortstop and during game for me is like I'm a different self. Im locked in, I barely talk, and I do so much better than I do at practice and I also lead the team in stretches and other stuff.
