Carnegie, Planet Unknown and Woodcraft have been the big hits from last year for me. Also Flamecraft for Laura!

You should definitely try Sabika! What an elegantly designed experience - historical crunchy euro goodness. And it has one of the best solo modes I've ever experienced - simple and fast but still very competitive. #meepleday

I have so many games I still need to play. I get a small taste of what it takes for you two to get ready to play a game for us, because I try to pre-play before I host a game. It's nothing compared to what you do, but I can see how it really takes dedication to present what you do for us. Thank you!
Played Terracotta Army as a four player game for my first game, it was fine. Wasn't super frustrating. The part we found tedious was the endless barrage of point scoring for every player, every type of warrior, every single round.
My wife and I are really enjoying Joan of Arc: Orleans Draw and Write. We love Orleans and though not as heavy, Joan of Arc scratches the itch in 20 minutes.
This has already been said, but the reason I came to this channel was your playthroughs of games at 2 players. My wife and I play lots a games at 2 players and your reviews have keyed us in to more options! Thank you! #meepleday
I started watching you guys when I wanted to start playing 'heavy' games, I was intimidated, and wasn't sure if I would enjoy it. Then, I saw your videos, and realized that playing this kind of games was actually super fun and challenging. Thanks! And keep it going! #meepleday
Nice to hear your thoughts on some games from 2022. With all the games coming out nowadays I think many of us don´t have the time to experience them all (even including "the big hits").

One of my favorites from 2022 was probably John Company 2nd edition. Not sure if it's the kind of game you would enjoy or typically play, but I found it very unique and engaging.

Picked up Basilica a few months ago. Pretty enjoyable with nice components. I am interested in seeing Moon River at Gencon, it is a Kingdomino style game.
Best thing about 2022 games, that there’s no more of them coming out. Always prefer the reviews later, like this and gaming rules does.

I absolutely love dungeons dice and danger! I've been able to get quite a few friends hooked on it as well. It's fun to hear a groan from the other side of the table when you announce you killed a certain monster one round before they could.
I’m a big fan of your channel, and especially like the way Monique teaches the game before your play through. I’ve watched many of your play through a to the end when considering if a game might be right for me/my group. And especially if that is a question of backing on crowdfunding. I know in those sponsored videos you are not offering an opinion, but you do a very nice job of presenting the game lay for what it is, and the teach is crisp and helpful. Anyhow…thanks. #meepleday

Dungeons, Dice & Danger is one of our most fun roll and writes, so happy we were able to find a used copy locally! #MeepleDay
Have you played Lets Make A Bus Route the dice game? I like it quite a bit more than Get on Board, although it's a two player only game. The dice just give you more decisions to make, as in typical roll and write style you're rolling more dice than you're going to use for your turn, and what you leave behind is what your opponent chooses from. It's also just a really nice production with the dry erase boards and the top of the box lid even has foam on the inside to use as a quiet dice tray. Really cool game!

I didn't think we had acquired that many 2022 games, but when I scanned through the list it looks like we have at least 27. Out of the 17 we have played so far I think the highlights have been Frosthaven, Oathsworn, Isle of Cats Explore and Draw, Bullet Star, and the Viticulture cooperative expansion. I'm most looking forward to trying Encyclopedia and Sub Terra II from our unplayed list. #MeepleDay

The 2022 hits for us were Woodcraft, Terra Nova, and Joan of Arc Orleans Draw and Write. Several we played didn’t work for us and others we enjoyed, but the above are definite keepers.

I'm meeting a friend on Monday for a game day and I think I'll bring Dungeons, Dice, and Danger as one of my games. Thanks for the reminder! I like the idea of hitting the pause button sometimes on all the new games and concentrating on playing the games we already have.

The wheel in Terracota Army killed it for me! I liked the game a lot, but I did suffer a lot when I was planning my whole turn for someone to move the wheel and just have to throw the strategy down the drain. 😢

There s a translation error for Dungeon, Dice and Danger for the game ending. It s not ONE player to kill all monsters. But when the monsters get collectively killed by all players. Or in other words: 'when every monster on the dungeon has been defeated by at least one player'. This should speed the game up for you 😊

As for 2022 games, some of my favorites are Heat: Pedal to the Metal, Wonderland’s War, Planet Unknown, Scout, Marvel Dice Throne, and Marrakesh. There were so many great games released in ‘22! It’s understandable how difficult it would be to keep up with all of them.
