Thank for making this lovely video, I really enjoyed it. Looked at it several time, and stored as one of my favorites. There were a lot era 2-3 layouts, that I really love and try to realize for myself. So much creativity in one place, please more of this😉
@@westhavengwr4613 I will have a look at them… I'm a Belgian British train collector with a big hart for Era 1-3 and it's alway interesting to see what other people are doing in that field, also as you, to see details and get inspiration fit in my own layout. It looks that the Portsmouth exhibition is a very interesting one in that field, very interesting for a field trip next year…
So pleased you enjoyed it. I used to work weekends so could rarely attend exhibitions. Now I am retired I can make short videos for the enjoyment of others.
A bit better than Tony's video, but where's that magical feeling of steam engines and coaches flying along the railway line? Time we saw full oval model railways in action, I think some modellers have forgotten how much more exciting it is to see surprise pristine steamies flying along, at full speed. That's the magic of playing trains for everyone. Come on, guys, stop playing slow as snails and surprise us at full speed, will ya? We're all missing those exciting moments of playing trains.
Martin, yes, I have seen that layout with the ambient sound on other videos, and it is truly delightful. I hope I can do similar things with mine.

Amazing detail in these layouts. Great for inspiration for my own Westhaven. Hope you like the Westhaven videos too.

I was hoping to make it to this show myself but circumstances conspired against it, so thanks for your excellent video.

Yes I visited with Tony . Video nice for me personally I do not like all the mumbling background sound. Just my preference. Show not too bad
I don’t like the background chatter either but prefer it to silence or music.
