Blocking is very good in Elden Ring and even comes with a counter mechanic that can do tons of poise damage to stun enemies. Just get a shield with 100 phys negation and you're set. Then if you can get one that comes with the skill to enhance your shield, you can basically block every attack in the game with little to no damage and without worrying about your stamina being broken.
Amazing! These fixed camera angles in a boss fight make for a more impressive scene in a way, as they always make the player seem small by comparison and there's a strong sense of being trapped in the room with the boss.. This is more than just a demake, it's an interpretation. Love it!!

Especially for the time and medium, you never saw angles like that in video games. And it isnt just random because its cool, it always serves to enhance the mood. This looks like an actually phenomenal game. The ps1 camera here seemed like a huge challenge but not one that was insurmountable paired with the boss behavior, and the angles were well chosen.

This is honestly the best PS1 demake of any videogame! Most of these just take the PS1 graphics and kinda run with it, but this really captures what a PS1 game played like, from the pre-rendered backgrounds, the animations, the camera angles… it’s truly perfect! :)

Can you imagine if there really were games like this at that time... It's just crazy how drastically gameplay mechanics and the overall direction of video games have evolved. The beautiful thing is that today the layman can create a work that is graphically and tonally reminiscent of that nostalgic time that was such a near and dear part of many people's childhood while being able to bring to them modern innovations that have in many cases made gaming a deeper and more engaging experience. I love seeing a person's talent being channeled through that early sense of wonder and the experience of being absorbed in a new and fantastic world as a child with an innocent and open imagination. Nostalgia can be a powerful resource to tap into for a developer.
Incredibly well done, I love how well the gameplay adhered to the ps1 format. The only complaint if there was one, that loading bar, it's not nearly chunky enough for that era of gaming. It should be either really chunky/amost 3d in it's design or EDGY because that's how it goes. Regardless, I loved it. I would totally play this. Great job!

Perfeito! Tirando a física da capa que acho que não tankaria numa engine da from software para PS1 (kkk) o resto perfeito. Jogabilidade boa era super possível, a troca de câmera fixa super bem otimizada, trilha sonora impeça pq o PS1 rodava bom áudio mesmo, enfim, perfeito.

Excellently done! It may have already been mentioned by someone else, but From Software actually made a PS1 series called King’s Field, and although that was in first person the status bars and sound effects you used are very spot on to that. Great job!
