I'm cameroonian living in Cameroon. Didn't know my country has many interesting places like this. I've barely visited the rural parts of Cameroon. I would love to explore my country more in the future.
Interesting. You have visited Koma! That is great. Next time you come to Adamawa State, Nigeria, please try and visitArnaɗo Debbo, a village that has a woman monarch. It is less than 100 miles from Koma.
Well done! Zann. For many indigenous and local tribes, the land is not just a source of nourishment, but also a spiritual and cultural cornerstone that shapes their way of life. Thanks from Iran ❤
Wow, you’re amazing!! Just keep watching , sharing, and encouraging me with statements like this! It makes my work worth it . Thank you soooooo much!!! 🤩🤩🤩🤩💫💫💫💫💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻

Aww you are so sweet, I am very grateful for my experiences! We live in the most amazing world and I’m happy to be able to share it with people like you. Thank you so much watching and taking the time to comment. It means a lot
Wow, I was a Peace Corps volunteer in the Far North of Cameroon in the 1980s. I thought I was in a remote place. This is unbelievable. I don't know anyone who visited that region. I don't think I would do that now, you were way to close to Baku Haram country.
Another wonderful trip ! You have been lucky to hit all the celebrations. I really liked that they still have all the traditions of their ancestors. The person dressed to represent the gods was a little scary, but very cool. Also there were some really elaborate leaf "outfits" - couldn't think of a word, but they were really beautiful. Hope your toe is getting better and that you got some sleep on the train, though by your last little smile, and that baby crying, I'm not betting too much. Can't wait for the next one. Thanks for the adventures!! xo
Thank you so much for watching Jane Leigh! I have been very fortunate with timing in many places! I very grateful to be able to witness them and then share them with you. The leaves are great, right?? So neat! Yes, my toes is better and I got some sleep- the baby eventually fell asleep and I knocked out. It had been a hard 8 days. Thank you , thank you Jane Leigh for all of you insights and comments! Love you!!
Wow, what a treacherous trip! Seeing your injured toe made me weak. I don't know how you were able to put a shoe on that foot! The "rivers" and deep streams were quite the obstacles to conquer! I worried about all of your camera equipment. What an interesting tribe....hard workers and darling, happy children. I would have loved seeing them putting together their leaf attire. Curious how much actual sleep you got on the train! I guess after the flooded tent anything would have been wonderful. Thanks for sharing the different life of this tribe.
Remember how I said there were so many obstacles?? Between these two videos, are you getting a better picture?! Haha. Yes, I wish I got to see them putting the leaves together too. I actually had a decent sleep. I was exhausted- and if you remember in the first video I sat up the entire 16 hours. I was so grateful for the sleeper going home !! Thank you for watching and your in-depth comment Love you!

The Koma tribes are found withing the northern part of Adamawa State in Nigeria, in the Atlantika Mountains, which shares a border with southern Cameroun. They are primitive tribe in Nigeria.
Thank you so much for watching! This area does border Nigeria, and this group of people are in Nigeria as well . I think they are called the Dupa people in Nigeria. I may be wrong…
They seemed self-sufficient and celebrating their organic produce. Hope they don't ger disturbed. Another nice video, don't know how you managed with that toe, carry a good first aid kit.
It’s unfortunate that everyone gets disturbed and that outer beliefs are forced on to other cultures . This is happening everywhere. You are right, they are self sufficient and much happier in many ways. Haha thank you for thinking about me and my toe. I was still wearing a bandage but it was feeling better . Thank you so much for watching a few of my videos and commenting 🙏🏼☺️ that means a lot
Thanks to this brave woman, they should be educated to improve their way of life or a native from there should be brought out from there to study and return their country to teach what he learned.
Africans are so loving and accomodative.
Yes I agree 🥰

Cameroon is a land of diversity and contrasts.
The remoteness to Koma land is what has protected them from the ravages of the outside world.
Isn't Koma tribe in Nigeria instead ?
