Air New Zealand NZ523 : Flying from Auckland to Christchurch

A few days after my solo outing to Wellington, I travelled to Christchurch aboard Air New Zealand on their 4 years old Airbus A320-200, ZK-OXL.
We arrived at the Domestic Terminal of Auckland Airport quite early and checked in. After retrieving our boarding passes, we went through security screening and lounged until it was time for boarding. We boarded our plane at Gate 32 and I settled in Seat 19A. Pushback commenced a short while later and our plane taxied to the runway before taking off towards Christchurch. Refreshments were served and I got a cookie and a cup of tea (I actually wanted some milk but the flight attendant unintentionally misunderstood). The trivia quiz and the views kept me occupied and before I knew it, we were beginning to descend. We landed in Christchurch before we taxied and parked at Gate 17. The flight was pretty standard... not as exciting as travelling on a NEO aircraft but luckily my return journey will be quite special! Thanks for watching and see you for the rest of the journey :)

Yeah, some of my worst turbulence experiences have been on an A320. But I am a huge fan of the B737.
