About Dude Dad:
Hi! I'm Taylor Calmus, a Colorado-based actor/comedian. I started Dude Dad© two weeks before my son Theo was born as a way to stay creative while learning to be a father. My wife Heidi and I now have 3 kids and over 300+ videos. My purpose for the channel is to entertain, enlighten and inspire.
In addition to Dude Dad©, I have been in numerous TV shows, commercials, and have regular appearances on Jimmy Kimmel Live. I will also be hosting my own TV show called "Super Dad" on the new Magnolia Network / Discovery+. Heidi and the kids will also be a part of the show. Oh man, when Heidi slams the car door in Taylor’s face! I’m so guilty of this with my kids! 🤦♀️😂
I do it with my grandchildren! Yes, I feel guilty, but then I get over it.
She hits the nail on the head every time. They are both super awesome, but she is just great!
I laughed so hard. It was the only thing 100% relatable.
I know, I always feel bad, but it's like, we gotta go!
My older son talked non-stop like that. He'd come home with a minor injury and when asked what happened would start with, "Well, you know back when I was a little kid and we went to that place where Ben had his birthday party..." And I'd have to say, "No, Daniel! Just tell me about the past 5 minutes of your life, not the past 8 years!"
That is soooo my 60 year old husband. He wants me to see everything he does. Drives me crazy., they dont change, they just get older!
He just wants appreciation and to be sent as useful.

So accurate right? My 6 years old always has something to say, even when it's time to sleep. I felt guilty when I told him to quit talking, to please stop for a few minutes. I'm scared that he will grow up and hesistants to share anything to me.

And don't worry about it, i also have a 19 year old , he is moody sometimes and doesn't say much, but most of the time we can talk about anything. :)
Omg so good! You need to do a part 3, where they want something to eat you make it then they don’t want it, or when they want their sandwich cut, you cut it then they want it but back uncut, or when they are in and out of the cart when you are shopping. Doesn’t matter that my 3 are teens, I still remember these times 😂

Please do a wives one lol! My daughter, if there is one nearby, will legit watch herself cry in the mirror. Every hour she has a new outfit on that I JUST washed. She loves to paint her own nails and do her own lipstick. I mean, you have a daughter, you get it 🤣. I would love to see a video that Heidi does!!
Uuggghhh the clothes thing! I hate it! Lol she finally stopped doing it, at 9 years old, but every time she has a friend over they go through 20 of her outfits and they all end up dirty or on the floor.
That reminds me of my niece. She loves pretty dresses, so everyone got her one for her 8th birthday. She had to model each one for us, and just tossed the worn ones into a pile on the floor. My poor sister-in-law is a saint

My son started talking in full sentences at 15 months! I thought my ears would melt off my head from all his talking! 😂
It could be worse. My son was a late talker and didn't start talking in full sentences until almost 4 years old. My friends envied me. The downside was I was not very well prepared for the argumentative 13-15 years old phase.

@@unknownname1681 We got married at 21. So around mid 50’s?, depending on your make and model. He did just break the screen door handle because he forced it (it was locked, and I guess that flummoxed him even though we’ve had the door for 8 years 🙄). So it’s not perfection, but most of the childish behavior is gone lol. I’ll take it😂. You’re halfway there!👍

My son says "never again!" and "forever" without understanding how dramatic he's being. He also NEEDS a cookie or popsicle. He loves being naked except right at bedtime when ANYTHING TO AVOID SLEEP is the name of the game. I also love "I'm being quiet!!!" And "I'm listening!!!" 🤣
