There are some good spots around Swansboro and Sneeds Ferry we do not do much gigging around onslow beach. Lots of people tell me there is good gigging around bear inlet and browns inlet. Look for silty bottom/ some shells and bottom contour changes. Stay away from the sand bars with white clean sand we see very few fish on sand. High water after storms is not ideal and typically you want to stay away from full moon conditions.
