it's 2019 and Studio One 4 is absolutely crushing it right now. Such a powerful DAW and so simple and intuitive to use. I made a great choice picking this one

As a recent Convert to virtual recording (been using a ZOOM MRS-1044 forever) I can't tell you how much I appreciated this video. Very straight forward and succinct in terms a newbee like myself could easily understand.
I've been playing with a trial version of Pro and now am convinced that the upgrade is the right thing for me.
I look forward to watching your other videos on the Presonus platform.
    Thank you much

Until 3 weeks ago I was a Cubase addicted. Discovered Studio One Pro and it changed my work-flow completely. It's an amazing software with great native plugins. Recommended!

I just bought Studio One Professional straight away soon as I saw the video by our good friend Joe Gilder, and it has made mastering in my little home studio way better than ever before! I was previously using Izotope 5 in Cubase 5, and this suite makes tracks sound so much better by putting things in perspective. I highly recommend this to all!

the mastering functionality is one of the things that sold me on this software. i tried a bunch of different trial versions of software and this Studio One was far superior for me and what i needed to do with mixing and mastering my own tracks.

One big power of mastering in S1 project shows when your mix is made using S1 too. In this case drop into project song file instead wav/aiff mixdown file. This way if you do mastering and you think that something is wrong in mix - just switch back to song, fix mix and switch back. StudioOne do the rest - mixdown and update preserving plugins, fade in/out, etc. Try this ;)

Graham...very good tutorial on this software. Being a new man in the field and not knowing what is all available to me besides Protools 10, this would work great. Graham, I am loving the fact you ventured into the world of Studio One. I have been using this software for the last year and I must say LOVE working within this DAW. I would absolutely love it if you could use Studio One for your next 5 Minutes to a Better Mix if you decide to post series III. This way you can illustrate the power of Studio One to create a full project from start (mixing) to finish (Mastering). I really hope you consider this for your next set of videos. Thank you in advance!

Hey Graham, love your vids, I watch them more than any others when it comes to recording, mixing, micing, mastering, etc. in general. I use Studio One 2 Pro and I LOVE IT, when it comes to S1v2 I watch Johnny at HST, David at Vision Mix and Bill at Groove 3, I would really love to see you do more vids on S1v2, you may even come over to the Dark Side with the more you use it !! It is a great DAW and is only going to get better and more popular with time, I don't know anyone that uses it that doesn't love it and try to convert everyone they know!! Give it a shot and put out some vids as you go. Just sayin!! THANKS for all you do!!!!!

Paul Young Watch this guy, Graham, I've learned a lot from him. Also, Vision Recording Studios (David Vignola) is really good. He has some tutorials, the "Made Easy" series, that teaches you quite a bit. "EQ Made Easy" "Mixing Made Easy" and "Compression Made Easy". They are very intuitive, and teach you the absolute basics, and into more intermediate . They are $15 each, which is really cheap for what you are getting. He also has quite a few free videos on TH-cam. Good luck!
