Exquisite! Another masterful combination of image and music. And once again, your transcription is so pure, one would swear this piece was just recorded. Thanks so much.
@pwarkentin2pc That first photo of London is not 'a touch of mist', it is London burning after one of many air raids. I too thought it was just the fog until I looked closer at the roofless, windowless buildings in front of Saint Paul's. Love the recording by the way.
My great grandfather worked with Billy Thorburn. I wonder if thats him playing String Bass on this track ? I dont think I will ever find out, thanks for uploading :)
A true, nice and perfect picture of that period!!!Great music and great Billy Thorburn!!Thank you so much!!

Timeless images..in mind of many people in this world..and the beautiful sound of Thorburn and Raymond makes the connection..
That touch of mist adds a real sense of romance to London. Great video montage.
It´s a delightful song and it reminds me about Carroll Gibbons. It´s splendid !!!
Unfortunately, very much has changed in London since 1937....
I really love this =)

There's a nice version of this tune by Bram Martin and his Band. ON Regal-Zono I think.
