    My next project is a Sandhill sling for myself, then I’m taking a break from bag making and sewing a quilt for my great grandson. After that I plan on making the felicity. Thanks for the video, they are so helpful.

    This bag is really a place and inner bag wonder. Love it very much! I have never seen a machine you used for the leather in the beginning😳…, a skyver?! Very interesting! But first I have to invest in an industrial…, then in a pressing machine…, oh no, let’s stop it here🥺.

    I have the outside of this bag made. Know I’m going to love the slip pocket pleat and the top stitching of zipper flap to lining to make it stand up. Thanks for a great video!

    I love this bag! I’ve already made two of them and they do use A LOT of materials, but are so worth it! I actually use decovil heavy for the flap and I’m happy with the firmness.

    Love the bag! I just saw in the Techsew FB group about taking out/cutting the spring on the presser foot pressure because the pressure is too much even when it is set all the way up.

    You live on the edge. I prefer drop-in linings. I have the Techsew 2750. But I ALWAYS secure with DST. Lovely bag. Thanks for sharing. I have to do a gift for someone and this is perfect!

      I think you can use a domestic to make it just using thinner materials!

    I adjusted my presser foot so that the inside foot comes up as high as the outside foot so it doesn't drag on the fabric. Really helps it climb, too.

      I loved the feeling of sewfuse plus with it! I would say no to the foam unless you’re wanting it padded!

    Don’t worry about the layers shifting, used less clip, and take your time. The double tape will help.

    This is so great. I just purchased the pattern no am going to make out of cork and a contrasting cork. What do you think about interfacing the cork? I do want it sturdy. I’m planning on using decovil heavy for the bottom but not sure what to do with the exterior. And the flap. I’m using your wpcanvas that I got from your grand opening box for the lining. I appreciate your thoughts. The cork is good quality from fun house fabrics

      I used the 1181 for the construction and the techsew 4800 pro for topstitching at the end

      @@LaurenMormino ok thanks. I love these videos, but hate when they have a different industrial than I do. I only have the ddl 8700.
      I'm aiming for industrial 5 thread servers before a walking foot.
      I doubt this can be made well without a walking foot and that other machine the 4800 you said :-/

    I have a quick question about the interfacing you used in this bag. Is Sewfuse plus like WovenFuse in terms of function? I’m almost out of WovenFuse and was thinking of trying SewFuse plus but wasn’t sure if it was the right application. Thanks! 😊

      Sewfuse plus is definitely different. It’s really unique. I would try the sample bundle!!
