Hi! I'm new at sewing bags, but I've been sewing clothes for 40 years. At the beginning, you mentioned something about sewing this up at 90% of the purse size? There are two sizes in the pattern as it is, what are the final dimensions of this bag? I'm struggling to get a handle on what the scale is like. Thanks for a great video!
if you put a wooden ruler behind the walking foot to raise the foot to equal the front of the foot it should help with the multiple thickness of the fabrics.

Hi Lauren. I notice you only cut one slit for your purse feet. I have always cut two (tracing the washer skits) and am curious why you only make one slit - I’m thinking you do this to reduce the risk of fabric wear but not sure. I would love your insight.

Great bag! I think I would just sew through the lining to divide the pocket. Sewing through the outside tends to spoil the look.

Do you use woven interfacing on all of the fabric that calls for it, even if it is a thick vinyl or canvas?

I have the hardest time sewing the curves on the outside bag. Always have pinches and puckers....any tips?
Making little snips in the curves can help! And stapling. I get them too sometimes though
