Olly put rubber matts up both ramps and that will stop it from being scratched when loading the digger.

Great video as always Olly 👍 If you have an old set of rubber tracks, cut them open and lay them flat on floor of low loader…gives the steel tracks a bit of grip especially if wet or muddy, and also saves marking the trailer floor 👌🏼

Great video Olly, where I am there cycle racing on the roads nearly every weekend. Most are responsible, but so aren’t! It’s the same as everyday life. You get some and there are others!

Followed a cyclist on an A road the other day cues of cars behind because there where no places to past. Then every1 got past him only for him to go past us 2 minutes later at some temporary traffic and we had to all try go past him again 😡 3 miles later I got past and I was jumping. Bloody dangerous and rude
So did the bi cyclist not stop at the traffic lights as well then ?
Traffic lights don't apply to cyclists apparently !!!
Next time you take off your selector grab it’s left in the open position you can stand it up on your trailer so you don’t have to lay it down and damage the floor

Great video as always olly,tip for the low loader get some old conveyor belts then roll them out on the bed when your moving the digger will save damaging the floor and also helps grip
Some Cyclists are a different breed, I overtook one last week in 20mph zone and I gave them plenty room and way more than 1.5 metres (closer to 3m) and they still complained, I then stopped at a red traffic light and they didn’t but unfortunately for them a police car was behind us and he then pulled him over.

Hello olly another great update, with regards to cyclists some are better than others and yes you have to be careful going round them as cars just don't seem to want to wait behind you

Regarding cyclists , the road law now tells them to be wide on the roads and not to stay to the side .
All to stop drivers from pushing past. So its not all on cyclists its a lot on the driver safty dept for changing the highway code.
Everyone just needs to chill on the roads 😊😊😊

Whilst on the subject of push bikes , whole heartedly agree , but also , and I know you have a job to do , could you also ask tractors drivers to be aware of the queue behind them too , and pull over when they can. Trying to overtake in a car can be bad enough but in a loaded lorry , which could well be loaded with their grain , is an absolute nightmare . Cheers Olly , not wanting to moan because I know you are all busy.
Yes agree plenty of tractor drivers hold up traffic more often then not while on their mobile phone see it daily, when I get on the road on my main tractor I make sure I am very aware of cars etc behind me and keep tight to my near side for them.

Another cyclist here and prefer the leafy lanes of North Shropshire to main roads and always pull over for tractors, at this time of year dont measure my ride in miles but in how many combines I see 😄😄

Olly i cant belive my eyes is that machine only held on with 2 straps !! If so you need to be educated the dvsa would gv9 you for incorectly secured load you need chains to secure that and secure it from the chassis not the eyelets

1993… Haddaway.. what is love.. good rant on cyclists… some have sense and can see they are the smaller and can move off road easier than a tractor and trailer… but others have a very scary road use attitude.. and it’s never their fault!!!!!🤬🤬

I can see it from both sides, I always get out way when on my bike, also have Motorhome which sometimes comes across cyclists going at a steady pace but cars behind think it’s me that’s slow, same thing happened cars come chasing round to find cyclists (3) in a group,

I’m a cyclist and ride all the country lanes and I always pull over for tractor and I pulled I’ve the other day so a conbine could pull in to let cars past and the car behind didn’t want to go past him a wave thank from the combine driver and a nice wave to the idiot in the car 👊🏻😂the sessions are hard for farmers so just let you get on with the small windows of weather you get 👍

I had two tractor drivers nearly take me out yesterday while I was out on my bike. I was off the road leaning against the bank and they didn't slow down or move over. Not a pleasant experience.

I Agree with you Olly cyclists don’t do themselves any favours, ,,,, I was following one the other week on a Single track road he waved me on where it was a bit wider yet 3 yards in front of him there was a great big pothole that he hadn’t seen now if I’d have started to pass he only knows what would have happened yet he shook his head because I had the sense to stay back

the other annoying thing about cyclists is when they notice you behind and then go to two abreast instead of remaining single file. 85% today - on a holiday in north devon. Harvesting, windrowing and baling is a go - Fendts, Claas’, New Hollands and old Case IH’s are the popular brands down here.

Had two cyclist overtake me today, only does 30k my tractor 😂😂 back window was open we had a laugh about it. Don’t often have cause to criticise but that was the most stupid place to load a digger. Wonder what the insurance would have said had it slipped of for some reason

Even better one olly.. Two horse riders side by side on a country road at national speed limit.. With tractors in the middle of harvest... Motorbikes. Doing national speed 60mph. And the horse riders telling us to slow down. When they were refusing to drop to single file.. Complete idiots. The tractors couldn't pass. The cars only just..

2:50 cyclists can just full stop F-OFF, they want everyone to tiptoe around them because they feel vulnerable, yet you'll find them in Cambridge running red lights, no lights at night, headphones on with kids in the front basket, no indication to stop and they dismount in the road, and they think a 42T lorry is going to give way with 0.0500-sec notice and stop still in under 1m

@OllyBlogsAgricontractfarmer I wanted it to be a surprise for him today had we both where brought up on a farm and he has just had the all clear from prostate cancer. Last month . That's why it's was Disappointing. And have prof that I made a donation to the north West air ambulance.. but it's OK.
