That’s a lovely chipper only thing I’d look at it’s either a remotely controlled crane controlled from the cab of the tractor or an actual crane and cab on the chipper. I seen you’re screens are CHP sized look into a smaller screen that way you’ll attract more customers as many use smaller chip sizes
Would have thought the chipper would have a metal detector like the forage harvesters have to stop any metal going through it. It's a lot more compact than the other one.👍
@@gareth2673 Very few if any come with them metal detectors on foragers etc are housed inside the non ferrous feed rollers most large biomass chippers have one large diameter steel feed roller and there fire no real way of fitting a practical and useful detector ! Good dialysis today and specialist vascular access nurse happy with my fistula so 115%. 5 yellow cars, 3 orange (2 Ford ASBOs) and 2 tractors. Getting worse sort of a day, started dry, began raining halfway through the morning and has got heavier since.
That was a cracking blog Olly, you say it doesn’t feel like you’ve done anything? But you have “also put together” a brilliant 15 minute video that thousands of people can watch, learn from, be informed, find a possible career, etc, etc, etc. It is absolutely brilliant watching what you get involved in and do, in and around your farms!! 😊👏👍👌🚜 new chipper looks the business!!
A very nice bit of Kit Olly, very well made hope it serves you well. It's been a rather warm but murky day here in Suffolk, but forecast is for rain later tonight. 65% Today .
We had very stormy weather over here in Ireland so it might make it's way to you Olly during the night. No heavy rain just a bit of drizzle early today.Nice chipper.
Great video olly as usual have you thought about lanoguard spray or wax oil for the underside of your new chipper to protect it from the elements as I am guessing it will sat outside all year round I have a Landrover defender 2005 model the chassis looks like it has just come of the production line so it is well worth the effort
Now that's a awesome chipper really looking forward to seeing more of that beauty. I'm writing this at 9. 22 pm and it's pouring down here now. Annoying a little as we've only got beans and oats to cut.but to be fair we need some rain. Great video looking forward to seeing more regards to the family and farm crew
You need to buy an engine and fit it with a PTO shaft like contractors do when pumping. So that it will drive the PTO on a machine but not put any hours on your tractors and make the value of them decrease and also it doesn't keep a tractor tied up on the yard all the time
Great video Olly that chipper looks great it seems to make light work off the green waste ..had no rain here in south shields but it's been windy..😀😀😀😎40%
Looked for the blog which had been posted for 13 seconds and was the first to watch it!! By the end there had been over 2K views. Interesting as ever. No rain in Spilsby, Lincs, but turned very cold. 95% today/
Love the new chipper what an awesome piece of kit I agree it should have a metal detector on you wouldn’t want it blowing up because of getting a lump of metal in it it looked very well made it should really have an older tractor driving it seems a waste tying a good one up Itsbeen a decent day today not a bit like they said feeling 95% today and Olly brilliant video again

Great video Olly, I'm gobsmacked at the difference in size between your old chipper and the new one plus the fact the new one can process wood much faster! As gareth2673 commented I too would have thought it would have had a metal detector? If that's not an option with the "Pezzolato" would you think of installing some sort of screening conveyor between what comes in and what you put through the chipper. I know cost is the major factor but you need to do something to protect such an important investment. After all that "Beauty" has many years of serious work to do. 🤔👍. Is James a Digger boy or Tractor boy or all the machines 🤔 Good luck with the new Chupper/ shredder which ever it is.😊 Hope Micheal from GCS is ok , his Facebook was not good earlier today.
Understand the PTO shaft issue with the chipper; Fendts would be slightly better than the Valtra!! A Kirovets K700A would look smashing on that chipper top lol. I’m 80% today.
Health to wear with the new chipper…. Would you not be putting the hours up on your tractors 🚜 driving the chipper..? Looks well now, hopefully it look the same when that big pile is gone..😎
Great video Olly a very nice new toy would you be better off putting the JD on it rather, than mounting up the hours on a new one just a idea and the switch is possibly off the claas bailer 👍👍
The tractor providing power for the chipper is in essence a stand alone power plant Have you got engine monitoring on them ie oil pressure / water temperature?
Looks a beast the new chipper Olly, would it be worth you investing in a metal detector and check the heaps of vegetation that get dumped off before going into the big heap 🤔
My limited edition hoodie arrived today, it looks fab and very good quality, number 097, I will be wearing it to the Manx Grand Prix tomorrow, will that be the 1st one on the Isle of Man ?
The only downside I can see with the new chipper is that on a windy day the chip dust will be all over the yard and everything else, looks a good machine though, what horsepower do they recommend for it Olly?
Conveyortek, Northern Ireland based company could help with a retro fit. Hydraulic, electric or manual driven options. Can choose the level of magnetic force too.
As said by Olly before I think he has the tractors and they don’t chip every day so having a pro chipper is a better fit for them with the amount of horsepower they have in tractors in the yard and the cost difference will be a fair chunk of change and also these PTO chippers are much simpler in construction and maintenance!
your chipping only light stuff I hope tractor hp is ok but capacity needs to be greater more torque get old derated class forager to drive if doing heavy

The new chipper looks an incredible piece of kit.
Awesome farm machine, I can't stop watching
On a windy day, you'll be able to chip into the silage trailer to help stop it blowing all over the yard.
back over that way first week in october from abroad .. might pass by to have a look at the chipper.. happy days
Switch looks like a its for the the manual control change of the bale discharge and tailgate operation on the class baler.
Guess it's the switch on the back of the claas baler to change between bale eject and tailgate hydrolics.

The operator is the magnet I ran a musmax for years and never once had metal go into it pay attention and you be fine.

thats a cool chipper well done
I passed this heading north on the M25 at clacket lane services on Friday! Looks impressive.
That looks as if it's making a decent job of chipping Olly.

I half expected a giant French fry cutter tbh
The tractor providing power for the chipper is in essence a stand alone power plant Have you got engine monitoring on them ie oil pressure / water temperature?
That valtra is made for forestry work and is perfect for the chipper just keep it on there full time instead of selling it.
what’s going to pay for another 728 if he keeps it!?

was the back access door on the chipper made from some flimsy composite?
I can guarantee it would of broken down within a month just like the old one 😂 very nice but of kit though, 90% today

well wear Olly but have to say it looks a bit undersized for your operation
Quiz question is it the bale eject on the baler.
is that a new chipper to replace the old one in the yard?
No overband magnet on the new chipper? How will you remove stuff so it doesnt block boiler?
Conveyortek, Northern Ireland based company could help with a retro fit. Hydraulic, electric or manual driven options. Can choose the level of magnetic force too.
And lose all the blocked boiler content?
There’s absolutely no need for a magnet waste of money.
I think Grant Mitchell was in East Enders not New Zealand 😂
Put the chipper on the 1455 so we can hear the old girl roar 😂
Get UTV out to pimp the chipper with some lights 😂
Could I ask...what's the advantage of p.t.o power over diesel engined version please, trying to understand why you'd tie a tractor up to create chips ?
