Well sir, my daughter had a landscape business for years., after I retired from my profession I worked for her for a couple of years, we did rock retaining walls and I loved building them, I am here to tell you that you did just an excellent job of building those walls, dry stack walls are drop dead gorgeous if done right and you did it perfect. What makes a wall stand out, in my most humble opinion anyway, is adding curves to them, it mimics nature, and it doesn’t get any better than that, nice build, thanks for the update, that made your cabin.
Watching you play rock Tetris is so fascinating. You have the eye. And watching you with your moo moos is so much fun. It's nice knowing you like the cows and the cows like you. Thanks for such an enjoyable and relaxing video, Chris. It's been really fun.😁
Great Project. Looks Awesome!! Before you pour the concrete patio section, take that "too large" stone on the side of the cabin and place it in the patio area for a natural stone seat next to the fire pit. You may need to excavate a small depression, in a slight arc to get it to sit at the proper level, but it already has a nice curve to it to work well with the fire pit concept. Then you can pour the concrete slab all around it (add in some expansion felt around the base of the rock). Smores, dogs, burgers and some drinks 😊
Cows are so funny. Most people don't realize how social they are. Cool pile of rocks and they were free. Even better. Well nothing is free when you have to transport. Or you could always plant [ I said the word Plant } a few aborvities around there that I think would also looks really nice as well, just saying. Love the curves to it all, hate just stright rock walls, like the curves so much better, make it all flow better. Great job! Enjoyed the video.

The retaining walls look great. They are a great addition to the back yard. I like that you made the one closest to the house with some curves in it. It looks so much better than a straight wall. You could use those big rocks as benches down by the water so people can sit on them and fish.

I must admit your Yanmar mini and grapple have impressed me. The mini for having the power to deal with those rocks and the grapple for the same reasons. It didn't strain or grunt once.

You should use the big rock for an engraved sign. Placed near the front of the cabin as a nice greeting for your guests.
