@Meo Faustino that's totally understandable, I'm pretty much in that stage right now, I've been experimenting with different designs and patterns, your video helped me nail down my tying though, I couldn't get my sinew to stop slipping past where I wanted it and it would drive me nuts haha, now my tying is much more on point so thank you brother haha, I'll go check out the result for sure

dye it let it sit for a while come back and look for that white not so soaked color hit it again. Rinse and repeat until that no longer happens. This is going to be my next approach on it
It looks like that gave you trouble like the caterpillars gave me in fact it kinda looks like a real big caterpillar can’t wait to see the colours great job if you were a superhero your powers would be patience love it✌️
My only complaint is the camera angle. I kept wanting to scroll up to see what you’re doing when you lifted up the shirt to adjust your ties. Thanks for the tutorial!

I think the point isn't that their work is "no good" but that their open sharing of Jake's technique has encouraged people like Meo to post a tutorial of it giving it away freely.

This video was made when I'm decoding the honeycomb on my own without any help from others, in short when I was a newbie. Based on the title it's only a tying. I also have a reveal.

What kind of string / material are you tying with and what are you using to hold / wrap it with.
It's a flat artificial sinew.. and i used a diy sinew puller to hold it..✌️

I got the pattern but it has a lot of white areas.. I failed in the dye application..😊
When they say "Soda Ash" is that baking soda? What is that stuff on the stick you are using on the sleeve of that shirt?
Soda Ash is Sodium Carbonate, you mean the string I used? it is called artificial sinew.

Why do you tie some with sinew…can you use dental floss instead?
haven't tried the dental floss but some artist uses it..
