I like that the top is lighter, I think it adds interest
Thank you so much! 😊
Yeah, when you flipped it over and said it was okay, I thought you should add dye just to be sure. But it is pretty; I really like the combo of the blue and green.
Thank you!
Love it. It has an alien face in the middle.
Thank you!
The idea of using the dark color as a 'barrier' alongside the sinew is cool. The colors work well together.
Thank you! I'll have to try this one again, but add the dye to the back too.
Giving the Mandala tie my first try.. thanks for all your help in the process!
That's great - I hope your shirt turns out fantastic! 🙂
I love that you did this on a centered shirt so i could better visualize whats going on with all layers of the shirt
Thank you - I'm glad that you found it helpful!
Love the color combination. Your explanations are spot on.
Yay, thank you! 🙂
The shirt looks great and I do agree with you on your your critique. I’m glad you did a tutorial video on mandalas because it seems like no one does that anymore. And I think they are a very uniqueTie-dye design. Keep the great videos coming. We out here really enjoy them!
Thank you - I love mandalas! I'm so glad you are enjoying the videos - thank you for watching. 😊
Nice color separation with that sinew technique, also your dye is more accurately applied with that long spoon thingy, instead of sloppy spooning. I wasted alot of dye with the spoon, but sort of do better with the paddle end of the tweezers.
Thank you! Yes, those are lab spoons. Some of them have spatulas on one end and some have a large spoon on one end and a smaller one on the other end. They are stainless steel and I've found that the dye doesn't stick to them the way it does to plastic spoons.
Beautiful colors! Love it. Thank you!!!
Thank you so much!
It’s really pretty!! I love the colors. 💙💙💙
Thank you! 🙂
I love watching this 😂❤
Great - thank you! 🙂
Inspiring as always! Thank you! I always glean something new from each of your videos.

Thank you! 🙂
Love it.. i will do this one too
😀
Looks great to me
Thank you! 🙂
I like it a lot and I’m going to try it soon! Thank you!
Awesome - have fun with it!
Love your work
Thank you so much 😀
Gorgeous shirt, Angie. I see a big cat face in the middle. Thanks for sharing:)
😊 thank you!
I’ve done a couple mandalas but they’ve been on tapestries and we’re still hard to tie I have to try it thank you looks great and you make it look effortlessly 😁✌️
Thank you! Mandalas can be kind of tricky to tie for sure.
It looks cool🥰🌈?
Thank you so much! 🙂
Love it
Thank you!
what if you applied dye heavier in the thicker area?
i like the colors. i had grecian sea on my list to order and when i just checked the order i left it off.
I usually do try to add the dye a little thicker there. I still think that flipping the shirt over and adding more dye to the back would've really helped get more uniform saturation. I love Grecian Sea, that's one you should add back on your list for next time. It's a really pretty color. 🙂
How many cake molds should I order for this project?
This shirt is an X-large and I think I used about 5 or 6 cake molds.
@@FunEndeavors I’m on Amazon and found SIMUR 8 pack. Should I order two or three packs of those?
@@ms.bardotb1900 An 8 pack will be enough for 1 simple design shirt. Geodes and larger shirts will need more than 8. I have quite a few sets though since I use quite a few of them. After I tried them out, I went back and ordered several more sets so that I don't have to wait on a shirt to finish processing before I can make another one. I buy mine from Amazon too, but I purchase this set: amzn.to/2EnsaU2 it looks like it is a little less expensive than the set you are looking at.
You can either buy 8 for $14.99 or 5 for $8.99. I don't buy the sets that have the decorating tools.
Hi price
