- Steps for Tie-Dyeing
1, Wash shirt
2, Soak in the soda ash for 20 min.
3, Spin out the liquid in washer
4, Layout pattern
5, Fold on pattern lines
6, Apply dye
7, Place in plastic bag or tub to cure for 24 hr.
8, Rinse out excess dye, first cool water then change to hot
9, Wash in hot with cold rinse
10, Dry and wear
Making Thick Water
1 cup of warm water
¼ tsp of Sodium Alginate

I skipped through parts, but I'd have liked to have seen the tying technique done on the bigger parts as I couldn't really see what you were doing on the small end (finger cam needed)

No, I rarely use thick die, just the standard tie formula prescribed by Darma Trading Company.
