I'm going to have to disagree with him on the work part, or at least part of it. Working is healthy for a multitude of reasons, particularly feeling as though one has purpose, and it helps mental health because most jobs require some type of social aspect. But I think spending your life working, 40, 50, 60 hours a week, especially in a job you may not like, is a recipe for a life wasted. And there's this huge desire, at least from what I see in the United States, to own as many possessions as possible. People live in huge houses, drive brand new cars, and have tons of fancy toys. And the more toys they have, the more debt they have, and the more they need to work. I think that type of mentality really needs to be evaluated...
I don't think he said you have to work 40 50 or 60 hours a week. For the elderly I would think working half days for 4-5 days out of the week will be about right. Especially if you have the morning shift which gets you moving early.
I watched a ted talk he gave and he spent about 8 seconds on the subject of nutrition ( which is fine with me because there is far too much b.s on that subject ). All he said was stay away from fast food /junk food ( mcdonalds, donuts,)
I am so inspired by this gentleman!!
3 things to age healthily
1. Work
2. Nutrition
3. Exercise
At 65yr one can completely rebuild one’s body
Awesome man!!

Rather than work, I’d say it’s having a purpose in life or maybe we could use Arnold’s father’s advice “Be useful”
@@NoName-ml5ykthat’s right I’d completely ignore the nonsense of the original post 😎
What was his nutrition plan?
