    Maybe I’m early enough for Dan to see this. I grew up volunteering with blind people. My dad was a blinded veteran. He worked in blindness and visual services. Dan, please wear eye protection. I’ve seen a lot of tragedy from splinters and dust and stones. Dad got banged on the bridge of his nose by his helmet during a routine parachute jump and his retinas detached back in the days it couldn’t be repaired. He was just 19. Your eyes are precious. Please protect them!

    The other trees, curious about the newly replanted tree, ask where it came from.
    The tree, surprised at the question , responds stating that it was growing out of the second floor wall of the chateau, and that a strange , but very kind human, rescued it, and brought it over to be with the other trees .
    The trees, being impressed with the new tree's adventure, decided to welcome the tree into the community, and the tree became one with the other trees and now lives its life in the forest, forever grateful to the strange, but kind human that rescued it.

    Everyday I am intreagued with the amount of progress you've made, considering the amount of preperation and working out the maths and levels each floor level takes. Great teamwork today with clearing and filming. 💕🇦🇺

      It takes team work and patience to get the video shots for work in progress (e.g., i.e. quarry and Nicks work). I appreciate their efforts and attention to the detail.

    Good to see that you are well. When you don’t post, we all worry.
    Make sure when you put up the yurt, you have Nick and Cameron there to help. It’s a lot of work and the tarps are heavy. Aligning the cut outs with the door is a challenge as you don’t know we’re the cut out is when you through the rolled up tarp out the skylight.
    It may be a good idea to have Nick bring his digger. You can climb in the bucket to hook up the outside panels.
    For the inside you’ll need scaffolding and ideally three people. It’s safer than ladders.
    Did you get the wall insulation?
    Make sure you build the floor high enough, based on storm water and snow levels.

      @jmk1962 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      I'm wondering if the yurt makers do installations. It would be worth paying them to install it if they do. Dan has enough work to do and needs a more comfortable home to sleep in. I hope he gets a proper bed with a good mattress.

    When you first started this project, I just couldn't believe that you were taking this on. I saw the work you did on the farmhouse and the chateau and already knew you had some great skills, but I just couldn't imagine that this building would ever be revived. I've followed your journey and I can't believe the difference already. It's absolutely coming back to life! It's also great to see such wonderful people helping you on different projects and your enthusiasm is so infectious. I really enjoy your videos and I feel like I'm watching a man becoming a master in skills.

    Мне нравится ваше понимание к природе. Вы не выкидываете деревья которые выросли у вас на стенах а сажаете на участке и даёте новую жизнь. Будет что вспомнить когда они вырастут большие и красивые.
