    Thanks a lot for this great presentation. Which arrangement do you suggest for a line that needs a check valve but can handle a very wide range of flowrates. If I design for the low flowrate, then the Cv will be too small for the high flowrate. Is a split range of check valves a standard configuration? Is there any special requirement for that?

    Hi. What if the minimum flow rate of the system have a velocity less than 7 feet/second?

      Hi Naima,
      Different valves have different Cvs depending on the style of valve, line size and pressure class. 7 ft3/sec is equal to 3141.818 gpm, which isn't low at all.
