Kinda funny that your first boss was the hardest one in the game (theres a random selection of like 5 bosses) good job beating it :D
There IS a quick melee button, I think the default is V
Ive only watched an hour so far but THREE ESSENTIAL TIPS I can give without ruining your learning: if you pick up a weapon off the ground, it is GARBAGE, sell it because it is weighing you down and you cant try COOL GUNS if youre carrying too much GARBAGE (you know its garbage if its worth 50 or 100 dosh)
Focus on the zeds in front of you, walking backwards will have you sitting in the death screen for half the stream and gutierrez will get mad and he will hit you with a stupido combo so hard you might even cry
Dont shoot the chainsaw guy or the big yellow guy unless you have to, they are kind of like Left 4 Dead witches but sometimes the yellow guy just gets angry by himself, chainsaw man never will and you can just ignore him till somebody else makes him angry first
Tip 3.9 is: firebug is the best I love firebug shoot fire at their feet so the ground catches fire dont forget that I love firebug me and my homies love firebug #Firebug #Sponsored

Love the "without ruining your learning"-part :D
"chainsaw man never will" Wasn't that changed to " if I'm all that's left, your ass is mine?"

@breadpope0358 so what you're saying the game tried to brutally murder me on my first game? Zaxs spirit got into the system huh? Yeah, so far the fire dude is my favourite. I got a long way to go to experience the full of this game. I might boot it up tonight if I get on earlier then expected and then EDF6

@riekje321 I kinda have a habit of trying games without looking up guides to experience things for the first time. I like the fact we have a good number of people who are on board with that ethos. It's great for me and stream/videos.
It's nice to get hints and tips from chat. Great engagement :)

@@DrUranu Thank you for that tidbit of info. Will try to keep that in mind. I like to test things out and to learn them for myself instead of looking things up. Though in KF, there were so many weird things happening (headshot hitboxes in KF1 for example), that we had to do some digging online as well at the time. The updates to KF2 weren't always that descriptive, so the community created whole sheets of info on weapons, mechanics and all.

... There is a good reason why this game takes long to start by the way... And why your C drive will have a 10-25 GB temp folder somehwere you didn't expect after starting it... lol.
And the size is probably because they didn't want to decompress things on the fly.
This game is quite impressive if you dive deeper into it.
    Edit:
This game has the same issue as Borderlands 1 vs Borderlands 2.
The atmosphere is waaaaay different and values different things in gameplay. Better to play KF1 first imho. It's difficult to get into it afterwards.
I see people playing regularly both games. The "find game" option is something I wouldn't touch ever. Leads to issues game-wise as well as socially.
If you ever join a game and get kicked immidiatly or upon spawning, well... Welcome to KF2 and the hidden rules. Though a lot of people are kind enough to show you around even if it costs them their run.
    Edit:
How did you miss getting your weapon back after death? xD The team mates really helped you out there.

@riekje321 no wonder it took forever to load. Thought something was at miss lol
I've never got into borderlands, art style wasn't for me

@@DrUranu So I assume you want to know what was happening...
      - The game tries to copy as much of itself into your C drive as it wants (27,8 GB in my case lol) and store it in " C:\Users\yourusernamehere\Documents\My Games\KillingFloor2\KFGame\Cache".
      - The game will start quicker after the initial caching action... This was designed to combat installs to an HDD I believe. Lower access times on SSD's where people usually stored their operating system.
      - The devs didn't want to have the game hitching during a scream or something, so to prevent stuttering by loading/decompressing assets, they stored things decompressed (thus increasing file sizes).
      - The devs wanted to fit a lot of the game into the system and GPU (v-)RAM as possible, but had to combat the limits of less fortunate gamers. So yeah... It's an optimization thing. They would get negative feedback either way.
... Did you know, the animations are suposedly 200 FPS, so they look great even when the game goes into slomo?
