I havent stopped playing GT7 in VR since my PSVR2 arrived. It wasnt cheap, but worth every cent I feel. It's a great experience. Hard to describe the feeling of being in those cars in VR. It feels real. Resident evil 8 and Horizon totally wowed me as well.

That's one of the things I love about this game Being able to sit in hundreds of cars in full life sized stereoscopic 3d. The details are amazing. If you love cars GT7 and the psvr2 are a dream. Racing is just mind blowing. I had to purchase a ps5 and psvr2 but it's worth every penny to me as I will spend hundreds of hours in GT7 alone. Driving in VR is a game changer. Being inside the cars at full scale, using your eyes and head movements to check the mirrors. Your real driving instincts kick in. It's as close to real racing as you can get. You can feel the change of elevation in the tracks and use your head to look into the corners as you turn. I'm loving being in VR. It has totally refreshed console gaming for me. VR itself is like getting a brand new games console. Its revolutionary.

A little under for the wheelbase and wheel. More with the petals. But there are cheaper wheels to get that are quite decent. Some of them were shown here when he showed his wheels. I have a G29 a T-GT II and T300. The first you can get anywhere between 200-300, it is obviously a little old tech and noisy but it gets the job done decently enough. Is not some horrible wheel at all. T-300 is a little more real in feel and silent but a little more expensive. But you can get a full set for 350-400 Got one with a Ferrari alcandara wheel and pedals for 380. But it tends to overheat if you use it at full power so get some instructions about it before use and you will have a good time. The T-Dt II is even better and really fun on GT games cause is built for them. It feels amazing. Best you can get without reaching or getting close to a thousand for a full set. Bought it with petals and everything for 650. So about half of less that what you have to pay to get this wheel with petals. Between 600-700 is a decent enough price. It used to even go for 800 but that was too much for a non direct drive wheel so only buy if you find it under 700.
I'm going to get a VR setup one of these days.. but for PC use. I've mainly been waiting for VR technology to get to the point where the VR visuals are in a good place. The last one i tried was the HTC VIVE a few years back. It was awesome, really awesome! But the "Screen Door Effect", or SDE was quite present. Even with the higher resolution of the PlayStation VR2 (2000 x 2040 per eye) has SDE.. to a less extent at least. Still looks great. I do need to check out the newer HTC VIVE Pro 2 which was substantially higher resolution at 2448 x 2448 per eye. HTC claims SDE is a 'thing of the past' with the VIVE Pro 2. Need to find a place that has a demo setup.
