While I was watching your reactions, the moment you froze (I first thought your camera froze, but then you blinked 😅) from 3:40 onwards, I knew then you were already taken by this performance! 🤩 I agree with you, this may well be our most favorite Bruno Mars medley done by an artist! There could be a lot out there, but nothing compares to this! From Mori's outstanding and lively delivery, her superb vocals, her warm and energetic aura, to the incredible musical arrangement (by Adonis Tabanda, her long-time musical director, who's on the bass guitar), the fantastic performance by the 3rd Avenue band, who have also been Mori's accompaniment for a number of years now on many of her live performances, they did an amazing job, the transitions are so smooth, and they sound very much like the original you could think this is just a recording, but we know it's completely live! 🥰 Yes, I also agree with you, it's like we have just watched a full concert for free! And if it were really a concert, this one deserves a 10-minute standing ovation! 🥰 And doing a medley like this is definitely not easy, like you said, there can be medleys which sound disjointed, and the transitions are tricky, it could turn out to be a mess. But not this one, Mori and 3rd Avenue executed it perfectly! Running a Medley is not an easy task. You need a great band, good on cinematography, great quality equipment and stage set up to form a good medley. Mori, have all that! Adonis Tabanda, her longtime music director doing all arrangement. Her husband, Dave's Lamar do the professional cinematography to provide this masterpiece to the world's.

This performance was spine chilling mind blowing and so deservedly more then 100k views! I think you said it all with your standing ovation at the end. It’s quite a sad fact that a lot of people around the world that loves music in general don’t know who this girl is. I really don’t understand why this is the case. Compare her to the current artist in the States … imo she would stand toe to toe if not better when it comes to vocals alone. I don’t like saying this but it’s all about the image and how marketable you are in selling records. If she is discriminated by the west because of the colour of her skin then my response to the music industry is F¥€£ YOU!! You don’t deserve her!! It really does piss me off that I can’t turn the radio on here in Australia and listen to her songs. It truly is injustice that this voice is not heard across the world. Thank goodness for music platforms like Spotify Apple Music YT and others or else we would never have known this angel existed. Sorry but I had to get that off my chest.

I should have written artist from Asian descent. Apart from Lea Salonga please tell me how many pure asians descent (non mix like Bruno Mars or Olivia Rodrigo) have won a Grammy? Apart from KPop BTS how many other Asian artist or group have been invited or nominated at the Grammys? Apart from Lea Salonga name another Asian artist that have won a Tony award?
First of all, the west does not always discriminate because of the Colour of your skin . Secondly it’s a misconception people have and you would only know the society norms if you lived here.Of course there are going to always be discrimination in some form from som not all people here in the west. The west is always going to be the standard of music because they have the Money and Power. Musicians, crazy talented artists always try to win over the western world but I truly believe she will concur this market!! She is my favorite singer of all time, and I've been on the planet for 70 years, never heard better, I'm from Rochester NY, and believe me, we are listening over here, hoping she will go on a tour throughout the USA soon, just love her.
The thing I am most in awe about Morissette is that she naturally possesses a stellar vocal timbre and unimaginable vocal range before she begins using the rest of the tools in her expansive musical toolbox. I can't even say this for artists who are already established and have achieved celebrity status in the music industry. It's like watching someone perform so perfectly that our consciousness can't explain and comprehend what our senses are experiencing that it suddenly stops and breakdown leaving only our emotions to overflow uncontrollably; hence, the watery eyes and teardrop at the corner. Pure magic.
I understand about the tools. And Mori can do that because, let's face it, she has every tool in her toolbox. Other artists are not that fortunate or skilled.
