    Hi what time for carbon wheels

      Every time is wheel time! The tape we're using in the video is Tesa Tip. The width depends on the type of rim you use.

    Hello. Can you tell my what type of Tesa Tape you use? Is that type number 4287. I have problems to find it. Greats Richard.

      Hey Richard, you're right, the Tesa tape is a little hard to come by. We can sell you a roll if you contact us a at sales@lightbicycle.com or you could also just stick to using the Orange Seal tape - it's a little more readily available and similar to the Tesa tape.

      @@LightBicycleOfficial Hi, will 31mm rim tape fit good on a AM730 rim?

    • @LightBicycleOfficial
      @LightBicycleOfficial  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Vyckinis If the tape is pushed down in the center channel, it could work. As long as the tape isn't touching/ going up the sides of the rim.

    Best to use tape that's about 1mm shy of inner width. Good tape should be good with 1 pass only.

    Hey does electrical tape work?

    • @LightBicycleOfficial
      @LightBicycleOfficial  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Electrical tape won't create a good enough seal to run tubeless tires as that tape is very stretchy and won't seal correctly. It's best to use Tesa strapping tape, or tubeless specific rim tape. If you're running tubes, the electrical tape should be okay but not ideal. You're going to want to do at least two passes around the rim if you're going to use it with inner tubes.

      @@LightBicycleOfficial what do you think about gorilla tape? And do you need a shradder tubeless valve for a shradder rim?
