So typically I would just try to learn my favorite songs at first, but over time those songs became too difficult to play at my current skill level, and that sorta forced me to learn technique. A lot of the time though it can come naturally from simply just playing, but videos do help a lot. For me though it was always just playing as much as I could, I love playing!
