Evan never "entered" the tower, he was always an inhabitant of the tower from birth, he's not an irregular.
An irreguglar entering the tower is kind of like Gojo being born into the JJK world. It heavily shifts the dynamic of power and events in the tower. Almost like a prophetic event.

Bam isn't the same as other irregulars like Urek because he is much, much weaker. Yuri was excited to see the irregular because they are all known to have crazy powers that can shake up the whole tower. Headon means bam is different from regulars being a irregular he is not callled differrnt from urek or other irregulars there is no specific comparison made by him to other irregulars if i remember correctly

In the tower it's easier to use needles rather than the sword because shinsoo pressure make swords heavier and harder to use. Black march and most others regulars and even princesses uses needles.. an example of sword used and shaped as a sword can found with Hatzu

Mistake from ani-news here, Black-March is not the strongest 13 month series weapon, its B-rank like the rest of the 13 month weapons, except for Golden-November which is the strongest and the only S rank weapon in the 13 month series and is carried by Princess Adori Zahard, the strongest princess of Zahard that is currently alive in the tower. Yuri is actually a middlingly strong princess of Zahard. Every one of the 10 families present the king Zahard with a daughter from their families who serves as a princess of Zahard, these princesses get some of King Zahard's blood to make them extremely powerful and they serve as the royal family. Once the chosen princess climbs the tower from the first to the top floor and becomes a ranker, Zahard also gives them one of the 13 month series weapons which are named after a color and a month. So every princess you see with a 13 month series is already a ranker. The weapons are:

They are all B or A rank, except for golden November which is S rank.
