If people still have that question : there is a hidden „real strengh“ in all reels. For example my baitcaster reel says that it has 9KG brake but in reality it has 36 kg. So you can put a 35 kg line and a rod of 36 kg and lock the brake. There is a spreadsheet in the internet with a list of all „hidden strenghs“
These days I might not quite overload that far on the steelhead but I guess that is what I was doing then. I would just be careful on the drag and keep it lower and then slowly push it up as needed. Not sure the steelhead is really going to take advantage of that strong of line but it definitely can give you more power than the 16 imo

@@MDawgGaming Ill mess aorund with it a bit on volkov prob between today and tomorrow. Actually landed a 26kg Salmon today on my steelhead but the line was only 16kg, put me 2nd on the USA Board (not weekly)

level 1 you probably will want to float fish for a couple levels to get going but I would recommend getting a couple of bottom feeder rigs (basic ones) purchased and going as soon as you can
Do whatever you enjoy most, bearing in mind that feeder is the easiest form at the start of the game, thus making it the fastest way to earn silver and buy equipment for any form of fishing!
i think you basically want to use the "jig step" but it can be different depending on current and the size weight you have on... I may not be the best to help w this because I haven't used the wacky rig very much.... i just unlocked texas rig and that is the approach that has worked for me with that one

Hey, me again. So when you overload (steelhead with 30kg line) is that for when you land heavy salmon and then what u set the drag to 29?
