Are you going to do a series for other types of fishing in the future ? Loved your videos so far. Keep up the gods work.

I decided to make a pure spin fishing series due to the other types already having so many videos explaining how it's done. I really feel like there is a lack of pure spin fishing information and even though I'm not as PC and not that good of an editor, I want to get information out that will help anyone that wants to spin fish along with dispelling a lot of bad information. Also, there is this misconception that you have to use real money in order to advance or catch fish which is just not true.
      Short answer, no, lol, sorry.

I do believe you but i've just done 10 hours trolling with first 13kg then 9kg FC line (no leader on either), used the current Soturi, dodger then some handmade spinnerbaits.
Bite rate has been very high but it's still 95% trash. maybe $80/hr
Meanwhile my friend is on 27kg leader and the current fav jointed minnow and he is hauling in good stuff.
I did use the 13kg line at Yama and had very good results, get a lot of Chinook though, but very good silver.

I didn't make a trolling video, trolling and spin fishing is different and you are using different lures than me. There is already plenty of videos showing people how to troll on Kuori, hence why I did something different to show people there is other ways than just trolling. Lure choice is also a big thing, using the right setup with the right lure will land you a good amount of fish as shown in this video, however, having the right setup with the wrong lure will net you a lower catch rate.
According to almost everything you can find, a leader will deter bite rates on almost all fish except fish like pike and the only reason you would really use one is if you think something will bite through your line or take the whole spool, other than that, there isn't a reason.

If you're using braided line, u use a fluorocarbon leader. That will get you more bites for sure. But if u can go all the way straight fluorocarbon, that will give you the best biterate. Now using a straight braided line is worse than using a fluorocarbon leader. Period. Good video though apart from that!

Oh, sorry to hear that, take your time, but volk is actually super active, 190-230 silver per hour consistently

@@Galaxy_Wave69 I was planning to do my next video there. I wanted to do something that people normally don’t do, im not going to do a trolling video because there are already too many of those. I want to give people options, show them some methods and lures that aren’t normally used like my kuori video.

using a leader has nothing to do with keeping fish from biting you off. It's just a helluva lot cheaper to replace a leader than it is to replace an entire spool of 500+ silver line because fish will bite you off no matter what you do. The tiny fish catching penalty that leaders give you is well worth the peace of mind knowing if you break off you are just going to lose the lure and leader and not your line and reel with it. Not to mention that in your setup your reel is your weakest link and so that means every time a big fish takes you into the red the damage is all going to your weakest link-- which is the reel in this set up. The money saved by not using a leader is null and voided by the extra amount of repairs your end up having to do over time.

It literally says in the user's guide to use a leader to protect the rig from pike. If they bite off a few meters of 300m line, its whatever, you just replace the lure which you would have to do if they bit it off with a leader. Nothing there at Kuori is going to break all my things, hence why I have day after day of cashouts with no problems, and my reel isn't the weakest part of my rig, my line is.

@@alkemystbones6736 Okay, I didn't write the post to argue about what's right or wrong. I was merely pointing out why most people opt for using leaders. However, I do disagree with your statement that your reel is not the weakest link. Your reel has an 11.7kg drag, whereas the line is rated at 12.3kg. Thus your drag is weaker than your line and the weakest point in this setup. The mechanical weight is what you are referencing and that doesn't affect how quickly your drag wears out. Once again, there is no fixed approach to playing this game. I find it challenging to understand why almost everyone who has been playing this game since its inception follows a particular method and it not be the best one.

You could just not use a leader and not worry about it. I have 300m of line and not using it all, so if it does get bit off by a pike, I wouldn’t notice a line difference. Additionally with the reel, taking info from the admins, they said
“Every reel is different, some reels can probably handle 2x or more stated max drag, but some only 1.2 x max drag - that is why we got stars quality for every item in the game.” Using the brake correctly, the reel isn’t an issue at all, and not the weakest compared to the line.

@@Axxis270 You said that the reel is weakest part in thissetup. You are wrong, because if reel has x amount of weight it can pull on drag it doesn't mean that it is maximum weight, every reel has max drag and mechanism, for example beluga venga has 33 max drag in kg, but the max weight it can pull on mechanism when you close the reel is 109 kg
