Hi so I’m new at making polymer clay earrings and was wondering if superglue really works to keep the stud together? Have you ever had a problem with us falling off?
Melissa Mele i just made my own and they’re not that heavy! Normal. The bigger you make them the heavier they get. I actually made a tutorial on my channel 💕
I have been trying to find a way to keep the backing posts on my earrings but nothing seems to be working. I even have the same glue. Even tried E6000 and nothing seems to be working. They pop off every time.
Sculpey makes a liquid clay that you just dab on before baking, attach the earring post, & cut out an extra shape of whatever shape the clay is that will have the post. Cover the earring post with that piece, blend it in, and bake. The earring post should be secure
Hi (: They’re so cute and I want to consult you about something: When I make accessories with polymer clay, they are easily broken. They dont have a strong structure. Especially if I work on such small ones. How can I prevent this from happening?
Kübra Kaya this might be late but when using resin be sure to research about the safety precautions. Uv resin will destroy your lungs if you get exposed to it alot of times without a mask and ventilation. Just want you to be safe
You should definitely sell them! I've been wearing the earring and they haven't fallen off but if you wanted to make it more secure you could add the earing stud with resin.
This is a popular brand that's used by polymer clay artist. Let me know how it works out, I would love to see your creations. www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07KPRFP81/
Hi🙋 I'm From Bangladesh... I also want to make earrings like this...but i Don't Have an oven😥😞. So tell me how to make??? And i use homemade clay So will that work?? 😓🙁
Yes! I've run across that same problem recently. The easiest way is to take a white printer sheet of paper. Make sure theirs no writing on it, roll the clay out thin and stick in between the sheet of paper. And place something heavy on top of it and leave it for 24hrs. The oil will be pulled out of the clay onto the paper.
You can glue them together or you can attach them together before you bake them. I believe I glued them together after baking with glue. It's a personal preference both ways work just fine.

Nice and simple! Love love it! How long do you bake for?
Hi so I’m new at making polymer clay earrings and was wondering if superglue really works to keep the stud together? Have you ever had a problem with us falling off?

Hey! What size of jump rings are you using? Do you find one size better than the other? :)
The stud u put at back. Does it come off or it does stick properly

MAGNIFICENT...FROM BRAZI HE
Do they brake or bend and how long they bake for
The baking time depends on what kind of clay you use and how thick you make the earrings.
Please where I can buy string and hook ?
how do you avoid finger prints? ☺️
I’m no expert but I think gloves😂😂
Hey there! Would you say that glue is pretty sturdy? I ha e used e6000 and hate it lol
So if I don’t have a drill to punch the hole to attach the jump rings, I can just use a sharp tool to poke the hole?
You don't need a drill, you can even use a toothpick. But make the hole before you bake the clay!
Which clay u used?
What type of clay and at what temperature and time it need to dry?
It depends on the type of clay you use. I use Fimo and Sculpey and both have a diferent temperature. The directions will be on the package.
Thank you!

I like them, but I feel like they could add a shiny substance to them to make them look more like earrings and not clay.
I really liked them matte but you could easily add a gloss varnish.
