Thank you for your service to our Country Jeff! Keep the videos coming buddy. Still loving my 2020 V-Max and my Country. However, my Country needs some tweaking to run as smooth as my Yamaha.
Master Jeff, your filming and editing are excellent, really liked the camera pointing back at you. I like the colors on your jacket, mine is red, black and white. and armored. Talking about the Air Force, you might enjoy the book by Airman and A.G., lawyer Terry Lovelace, 'Incident At Devils Den". That book rocked my world. Thanks for the fine video. :)
Jay Hall, I’ve Never heard the story about the incident at Devils Den. We own 15 acres 1.2 miles from the park entrance on highway 170. Camped at the Den many times over the years.
@@jared2661able The "Incident" happened in 1977 to two airman camping there, they were actually camping on a meadow on a plateau that was not open to the public and owned by the Fed's. I would strongly suggest you buy the book! Google the book, it is about $20 and I could not put it down and what I learned disturbed me very much. The author is Airman, Attorney, and assistant Attorney General Terry Lovelace.
@@Jay_Hall I’ve walked the Fossil flats many times. That’s allegedly where it took place. Our property has a road at the edge that takes you right to the spot from there right into the campsites. Just rode my VMax to the Den 3 weeks ago. I think a lot of storytelling got started because of SEFOR nuclear site not far from there, within 5 miles in Strictler Ar.
Thanks Jay. The camera looking at me was my 360 degree camera. I dabble with it once in a while. It's fun, but post production of its footage is very time consuming. Thanks for the book recommendation. I'll give it look.
@@jared2661able Thanks, I have done much research on this and the correlation of this 'Incident' and it's specifics with what other Service men and women experienced from a number of different time periods and locations were what I found to be most eye opening and very concerning. The airbase they worked on was a nuclear base and at the time both Airman were medics and EMT's on a six year enlistment.
Jeff, dude......... filming aboard a "military base" is illegal. Everyday, when I go to work, if I've got my "Dashcam" on , they always tell me to disconnect it! > You've gotten away with it, > They don't like that stuff!
I looked into the legality of it particularly after seeing dozens of other TH-cam videos of military bases. I contacted Public Affairs beforehand and got their approval. I’ll explain in a future video their only restriction.
@@JeffMarcum Well, Jeff "Fair enough",,, I believe you of course. However : on the MCAS Yuma, Arizona where I was stationed as a Marine, and still some 38 years later am working on this same base.. they give to me so much "shit" and they're are signs posted at the front gate letting people know : Cameras are NOT ALLOWED.... etc. etc. etc. > You know typical B/S: of Marine Corps crap,,,,, they always have to be "IN CHARGE"......
