- This is a guide to walk or ride to The Wrekin from Lawley village in Telford. I'm riding my Voodoo Zobop-e and using a Wahoo Elemnt Roam bike computer.

Thanks Mike - live close to this and have been discovering all the trails recently. I was searching for the perfect woody route I can quickly do in an evening and this is it. It's also great because when you get to the turn back down the way you've already come, you could repeat the circle section as many times as your want 👍
Perfect! It is a great local place to play. My 9-year-old loves it too
Did it today - last Forrest climb after the golf course is actually a bit of a killer 😂 especially in the wet. Those damn tree roots.

Hi, thanks for this. I have been walking the wrekin most weekdays for a few years, saw your video and tried it in reverse, walked from wrekin got lost first time and ended up doing full circle lol but did it his morning. Thanks again 😊

Cheers for this Mike, I was trying to describe to my eldest that he can head out on his bike all the way to the Wrekin. I wasn't sure of the route, so this is awesome.

Glad it helped Graham, there are more ways but think this is the simplest, and only about 2.8 miles to the path up the Wrekin, it’s amazing. :)
I recommend app AllTrails. Lots of good tracks in there. For example Wrekin and Ercall, 20.3 km going through Little Wenlock. Good luck with your channel. :)

To be honest, I only ever go out on shortish rides as normally only have a couple of free hours. So, I never use more than 2-3/5 bars in 15-20 miles even in boost mode, so I’d guess around 40 miles range safely, longer with less assist.

I have done this route around the Wrekin on a video, it’s great fun, but I’m not sure coming down the Wrekin is for me these days! :)
I walked up the Wrekin two years ago and loved it, this is why I commented lol reminisce... Beautiful part of the world 🙏🙏🚴♂🚴♂🚴♂
