    I’m not surprised. These are extremely well put together bikes. The electrics are excellent and the bike itself is solid. Readily maintained and parts are easily upgraded if you want.

      Hi Neil, thanks stay safe also.
      Not got the bike anymore, l sold it. Just going to use my wee Brompton now, as its easy to get in and out the car. But I'm considering an electric Brompton but the cost is putting me off.

    Only thing I don’t like is the visible battery other than that it’s nice

    Nice little review and a great looking bike in my opinion , I’m seriously looking at this bike for my first e-bike. Some people say the brakes are weak and looking online they do seam to be bottom tier hydraulic brakes ( not too much of a problem and I can always upgrade )
    At the moment the bike retails for £3000, but with 10% British cycle discount and 32% savings from cycle scheme it comes out at £1836 for me. Even with that massive saving it’s the most I’ve ever spent on a bike by far ( my last one costing £300 )

    • @keep-going
      @keep-going  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I paid £2350 for mine at Halfords. If u get it for £1800 it's a no brainer, go for it. Brakes are ok in my opinion.

      @@keep-going Did you mention the Zobop was £2600 for you before discount ? What time of year was that ? I’m aware that buying a bike before Christmas is probably the most expensive time, so I may wait till early next year if I can get it for even Cheaper.
      Thanks
      Dan

    • @keep-going
      @keep-going  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@dan123collins yes it was £2600 less 10% but it went back up to 3K.
      The problem with Halfords is you never know when they will discount again because there is a massive demand for these bikes. So you maybe waiting for ages, also they don't usually accept two discounts on the same bike. I tried my AA and my cycle club one but they only accepted the AA.

      Agreed all bikes are in high demand ATM, so no reason for anyone to be discounting them for a while.

  • @FlyingFun.
    @FlyingFun. 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Think these are ok for the not so serious biker like me who likes to ride a mixture of trails with just a little light downhill thrown in now and then.
    But 3k atm so too close in price to better bikes with decent shocks and brakes.

    • @getstrongby4038
      @getstrongby4038 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Aren't rockshocks decent?

    • @FlyingFun.
      @FlyingFun. 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@getstrongby4038 I think there are better ones but these are decent enough.
      I ended up getting a Frey ex with bafang ultra second hand for similar money, lots more power anyway, I would have bought one of these if they were ever in stock when they were a bit cheaper than 3k but I'm happy with my choice.

    • @getstrongby4038

      @@FlyingFun. I really don't know anything about bikes and its getting very confusing, I want to spend around £3000 for a dual suspension but at the same time I don't want a crap one haha
      I don't even know what bafang is, thats a set of forks I'm assuming?

    • @FlyingFun.
      @FlyingFun. 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@getstrongby4038 bafang is a motor manufacturer that used to be mostly DIY 0rientated but are now doing some motors that are being used in factory bikes.
      The bafang ultra has a torque rating of 160mn vs 80 or do for Bosch motors so its powerful and faster.
      3k is what my budget was and took me a long time to decide, it's a lot of money for a bike but even that only gets entry level full suspension ebike.
      My advice would be to try as many bikes out as you can and really think about what you want the bike for to make sure you aren't buying a lot more bike than you need.
      Good luck

      Yeah I don't really have much option to try them, unless they're doing trials of course
      You could be right, I'm not sure I NEED full suspension as its mostly for commuting but it just sounds comfier haha, as you can see I'm completely clueless
