I’ve recently picked up a l320 tdv6 so only just found your channel. I love the way you tear things down and explain fully as you go along, by the way you analyse things I’m guessing you have some sort of engineering background? I don’t have the tools or space to attempt this but it’s great learning how by watching you work! Keep it up 👍
Hi , I realise that you repaired your RRS sometime ago but can you remember how you removed the metal shield that is over the right hand rocker cover? I need to unplug the injector harness to remove the plenum. The four nuts on the bottom of the cover are the problem. I have tried to use a ¼” universal joint on a socket extension but there isn’t enough room to articulate the joint. The angle of the four nuts and closeness to the wheel arch makes it impossible to get a spanner on them. Any advice would be appreciated. Cheers Richard Adelaide, South Australia
On my wife's Audi, I had to replace the EGR valve and the fault came back after a 5-mile run. The reason is that I had to recalibrate the new valve (which is vacuum/solenoid controlled) via software; the fault code is now gone. In your instance you did not replace the valve but, if the fault code does come back, it may be worth recalibrating the EGR valve (assuming Landrover require this).
Do you still own this troublesome Range Rover sport? I’ve had mine for ten years and covered 131k miles, I love the car and wouldn’t swap it for anything ( can’t afford another or newer car tbh ) great video btw
Nice one , keep the videos coming!
