Great video thank you. Job done, however I had a leak. I would strongly suggest that the elbow connector that fits onto the front of the water housing manifold is replaced at the same time. The o-ring on this elbow connector gets a tad flat and will leak...eventually 😅. Do it while you're in there and you won't have to do the job twice like me!
Hi sorry for late response. I removed it for 2 reasons. 1. So I don't get more coolant leaked into valley of engine to confirm repair. 2. His vehicle was showing low coolant even while coolant bottle was filled so I replaced his coolant bottle. Hope that answers your questions
Was it leaking? Could you see leak there before removal? Can't diagnose where leak is coming from if radiator or this. Any way to see it before removal ?

I agree. Sometimes, the o ring on the oil cooler needs replacement. We'll done
Thanks champion for this, i'm replacing mine with an alloy one. I can only say that Clamp Pliers are a must. I did.... battle.....alot :)

Why do you need to remove the coolant tank? Does it need to be removed to do this repair ?

Hi we have the same problem, we have got the part LR073372 but it didn't come with the o ring for the oil cooler. Do you know the part no. for this?

Hi no its not expensive at all. And very good to do as preventive maintenance even if it's not leaking
