Northern Thailand and the loop have had foreigners living and doing motorbike tours for the last forty years up there.
Yes it’s beautiful
Kiia, the very last TH-camr and Tik- Tok vlogger you mentioned at the end, is one of those vloggers that brings problems to Thailand. She didn't pay rent after her landlord gave her a job. Damaged and destroyed a hair salon in a violent fit of rage.
. Her videos portrayed arrogance and selfishness. She has officially been criminally charged and is being deported from Thailand. Good.
wow crazy
When you mentioned about Bali, now Phuket has become same like Bali, expensive, ruled by europeans that do whatever they want, crazy traffic and prices so high.
I haven't been to Phuket in two years now, but based on what I've been seeing in the news I think you're right.
Travis does awesome work, one of the few that put out fun and original content! Loving these interviews, looking forward to the next! 💪
Thanks for watching. Let’s connect sometime soon 👍
Very good video. I started following Travis on Instagram a month ago and his posts are consistently useful & fun. The interview here confirmed that he is a good guy, generous with solid advice and zero arrogance about living as a foreigner in Thailand. Really enjoying these interviews.
exactly my impression as well
Nice ep, a lot of good info. I know it's similar topics maybe but if you know a digital nomad who often stays in Thailand that could be a lot of valuable info. Like how does it work, how to do that legally without ending up in thai jail (which is NO FUN), work permits on short stay around a month, taxes, coworking/tech spaces in BKK like the True Digital Park (which blew my mind). Not trying to tell you how to live your life, but your content about living in BKK is great and maybe you will find that idea interesting (and I would get good knowledge from the video :D)
Really like this new channel
Thanks for checking it out 🙏
I like this guy. Helps improve the farang reputation when things are kind of at a low point now. I share his reels with Thai friends all the time.
Yup it’s definitely nice having a positive representative on social media 👍
@OneNightinBangkok_ mate thanks for the chat tonight in Soi 11. Was great to accidentally run into you and hope your laptop made it home ok. 😉
Nice meeting you. Sorry if I seemed rushed, was in the middle of dealing with a small issue 😅
@@OneNightinBangkok_ All good mate! 😎
My my . 50 years ago the war was on. Many dumb young GIs. 1 year in Thailand. She didn’t speak English and I didn’t speak Thai. She still looks the same as she did at nineteen. Daughter taught math in Thailand and did Thai dance for the Queen. But Thailand was not the place for us or our daughter. Good interview.
Liquidated.....man that's terrible !!!
🔥

Question Why are you not talking to that stunning lady ? And why is she sitting there ?
Because she just did an entirely different episode right before this
Thai Girls Talk DATING & RELATIONSHIPS in Bangkok | One Night in Bangkok Ep. 015

Not sure how it is if you're running a business in Thailand but in Europe and the US lots of influencers got in trouble with barter deals. Basically you need to calculate the value of the service/product you got for free and then... pay tax on that. So despite not getting actual money you pay actual money which can't quite work out.
That’s a good point
We have a law in Poland that in some cases if you get a christmas gift bag from a company it has to be taxed... One of the reason that jobs are becoming miserable, you can't even do something nice for employees without shitton of bureaucracy. The governments wants their hands in all of the cookie jars
So what visa allows you to work in Thailand on social media?
No-immigrant “B” + a work permit
@OneNightinBangkok_ wouldn't the work permit need to specifically list the social media work you are doing which is unlikely to get as an individual so would require you to set up a company with Thai employees. Some people seem to think you can get a work permit for anything, and then work doing something unrelated like social media.
Where’s Bonus?
She walked in halfway through and was sitting off-camera.
@@OneNightinBangkok_ hahaha! Nice. I’m 2/3 way through on my iPad. Already watched the previous vid. Fun stuff.
How is a barber working in Thailand, its a banned trade for foreigners ?
….he’s Thai…
Wow he seems like a great guy. I loved it when he mentioned Gary Vee, since I follow him for the longest time as well. By the way, @travisleon1, no affiliate link for Eric?
Yea he is 👍 I also follow Gary Vee so that was cool to hear. And no need for an affiliate link, he didn’t even ask me to post this. I just wanted to share in case anyone was interested.
