Not at all! That's where my initial worry was with not giving myself enough room. Always nervous basing a construction decision off the online measurements!

Great job! I feel that a heat gun would have made things a bit easier to install the railing.

You’re right, it was a little tough! Don’t own a heat gun. Just a propane torch. Gotta use what you have!

@@BreakingNewRoots that is true. I'm sure a propane torch can be set to very low and may work like a very hot heat gun as well. I've never done so but like you said use what you got and think outside the box.
