- Just an average load of pants in the vintage Whirlpool. This thing certainly gets thrashed, but it’s still kickin’! A moderate amount of soap was used, hence the suds during the high speed agitation of the wash cycle.
0:00 start fill
2:09 high-speed agitation
6:05 low-speed agitation
12:02 stop | Drain!
14:01 stop 14:05 spin
16:01 stop | rinse
19:02 rinsing
22:55 stop | Drain!
24:55 stop
25:00 spin rinse spray
30:55 cycle complete 🎉
i wish the water sprayed in like that in my kenmore and GE
12:06 it finally drains right
Because no Pictures of that Machine are available on Google Images, can you show the Control Panel, so we can have a chance to make some requests on it?
Check my previous videos of this machine, you will see it!
Are your previous Videos with as this’d be a D2000 Machine or? 🤔
@@videolover2014 no, 1987 whirlpool. It’s in a playlist on my channel
I want to get this agitator for my Whirlpool but it's hard to find. Is this running with the original motor, transmission and pump? Personally, Whirlpool should have never got rid of this agitator. A dual action agitator belongs on a Kenmore and a Surgilator a whirlpool
No, this machine has had all of those parts replaced. The pump was allegedly replaced before my mom purchased it about 7 years ago. The transmission is from a 1995 whirlpool, and the motor is from my 1983 D2000 bc it’s original motor lost the low speed winding. It also had a water valve replaced about 3 or 4 years ago.
@@Washing95 Oh ok. What a great washer. Looks just like the first one we got back in 1988. Except ours was a single speed. I have the four vain version of this agitator but I want the five vain. Lord willing something will come up.
@@patcola7335 best of luck finding one! I’m glad my D2000 has the early 4-vane agitator/surgilator in it. At somepoint they modified the mold so they have 8. Same part number, different surgilator
@@Washing95 I'm wondering if this was the 2nd revision of the Surgilator in Your D2000 machine. The very first which you might have seen over at the washer site had 4 half moon shapes on the bottom of the skirt. It was the direct drive version of the belt drive Double duty Super Surgilator. That thing looked like it had solid fins on the bottom too but I can't tell. John Lefevre (combo52) I think has one in the museum.
@@Washing95 I wanted to ask. Do you think you can get the part number for that Surgilator in this washer? Maybe I can find one that way
