What’s happening in this 2 Guns movie clip?
Quince (James Marsden) orders the death of Stig (Mark Wahlberg) who manages to escape after learning the truth about the money intended for a Navy base in Corpus Christi. Meanwhile, Bobby (Denzel Washington) gets his wound treated by a vet.
What’s the movie 2 Guns about?
For the past 12 months, DEA agent Bobby Trench (Denzel Washington) and U.S. naval intelligence officer Marcus Stigman (Mark Wahlberg) have been reluctantly attached at the hip. Working undercover as members of a narcotics syndicate, each man distrusts his partner as much as the criminals they have both been tasked to take down. When their attempt to infiltrate a Mexican drug cartel and recover millions goes haywire, Trench and Stigman are suddenly disavowed by their superiors. Now that everyone wants them in jail or in the ground, the only person they can count on is the other. Unfortunately for their pursuers, when good guys spend years pretending to be bad, they pick up a few tricks along the way.

There sometimes comes a point in movies in which the action is so unbelievable that the willing suspension of disbelief is violated. That was my reaction to this scene. An unarmed man who has been apprehended overcomes, (how many, 4? 5?) trained, fit and armed men, and at least two of them are not hit hard enough to disable them as shown. Yeah, I know, it's just a movie, it's not a documentary, but sometimes, it just goes too far.
The thing that breaks it for me is when wemon overpower several men like it's nothing when in reality they would be helpless

That was actually a really dumb action scene. Only in the movies do guys dodge bullets from 10 ft. away. And him working his way back up the cliff, like magic, with no one hearing or seeing him. Absurd.

So nice of the other 2 guys to draw their weapons and wait for him to finish assaulting the first two guys, disarm them, grab a gun, turn around and start moving behind cover before firing. Didn't seem to have much of a problem shooting him the back AFTER that point though 🤦🤣

Seems like most of the Hollywood movie these day need a gun to make a protagonist look cool. It's still appealing. It's not easy to have script that will entertain the audience without a weapon that will threaten to end our protagonist life.
This movie is called 2 guns. I think there was an implication of firearms from the outset.
